“Love this cafe. As a veggie the soup of the day was chicken but the owner James set to and made me the most delicious mushroom and sweetcorn soup ever . The prices cant be beaten in this place (large full English £4.95) and the menu extensive with a mix of English and Carribean all sounds delicious. James looks so calm under pressure as he was alone cooking and serving when we called in but everyone served in no time..my favourite place to eat when in Bolton.”

“Thank you, Renata, for inviting us to this Christmas princess party to sing and play with all the kids. Thank you for trusting us and supporting our team in developing a playgroup. It was a really good experience. The place is like a dream come true. When you enter, you will think you have entered a castle. We never thought we would have this opportunity to work with such a wonderful playroom. Their food is amazing, and they put in full effort to make all the guests feel welcome and comfortable. We highly recommend working with them and visiting this lovely place.”

“Absolutely amazing! So close to the train station which obviously is so nice We stayed in room 6. The room was lovely and clean, excellent variety in tea tray (oat milk option as well!) and still very spacious, especially for a budget option! Couldn’t have been more happy! Manager who gave us the keys was so friendly and nice. All in all amazing stay! Lovely to have the shower in the room as well (came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was all very good quality and smelt vvv nice) Couldn’t have asked for better! Even came with ear plugs but we had no issues with any noise :) thank you so much!”

“A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”

The staff were friendly, I talked to one of them and told them that the bar is really cozy and cool. Might go back there one day…☺️”

The rooms are lovely, by far the best premier inn I’ve stayed in. The hotel makes working away enjoyable. Couldn’t recommend enough.”

The interior is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern and rustic touches. The staff really knows their stuff when it comes to food – you can tell they take pride in what they do. “Went for Saturday breakfast, the value for money is incredible. 3 breakfasts including unlimited coffee only a tad over £18. However eggs Benedict were cold on arrival. But my traditional breakfast was spot on as was the freedom Breakfast. Was a hot day and I am assuming the air con broke down because my god it was warm in there. But the Erdinger was nice and cold. Some other interesting canned craft beers were consumed. I think the glass washer needs a service. And much amusement had watching the police attempt to apprehend a man with one foot in a cast. Ordering on the app is supposed to alleviate pressure on the bar and make it convenient and speedy for us as a customer, however one round took 10 minutes to arrive. Minor gripe. I love Spoons. We wiled away a few hours and will definitely be back.”

    Tesco Cafe

    ★★★☆☆ 3.3

“Nice cafe with usual Tesco menu. Food excellently cooked and presented, and even the beans were hot (which in my experience of most cafes is unusual). Cheerful and efficient staff and good atmosphere. What was really good was that you ordered at the counter rather at the impersonal machines which is becoming the norm (and is the reason we tend to avoid several other Tesco Cafes).”

“This place is lovely , my friend and I meet up about once a month and this is becoming our go to for a morning coffee and small bite to eat. It's clean and tidy and plenty of space to get between tables. The staff are all very pleasant and don't leave you hanging about for drinks and soon after comes the food. The poached eggs on toast was done to perfection and the iced coffee was lovely , my friend enjoyed her cheese crumpets too. Lovely place to go for a chat and catch up .”
