“Katie did a fantastic job with our end-of-tenancy clean. The tenant had left the property in an absolutely horrendous state, but Katie quickly took care of everything. Her communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. She arranged for rubbish and furniture to be removed and disposed of, followed by a deep clean—all at short notice. The transformation was incredible—the place was a million times better afterwards! I will be recommending Katie and Maids of Cheshire to all my friends and family.”

“Saturday 17th May 2025 This pub in Hyde necmxt to the train station is not just a historical gem with a proper Clientelle, and the person behind was polite and helpful Good banter was had in the fantastic pub it was good fun. There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”

Michael and all the other stylists are very friendly, professional and accommodating. I’ve now been visiting Michael’s salon for a few years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I’ve experienced hair cut, colour (including balayage) and intensive hair treatments by Michael and the other stylists and I would highly recommend these. After having the intensive haircare treatment, my hair feels soft, protected and I always receive compliments on the condition of my hair by others afterwards. I can’t wait for my next appointment!!”

“We booked The Mews and The South Cottage for 5 nights for our wedding. The cottages were spotless, the interiors were beautiful and the views and ground of the cottages were stunning. It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. Would definitely recommend.”

“Had a 2 night stay here for exploring the local attractions, the hosts are very Friendly and knowledgeable. A good choice of breakfast items that the cook for you fresh, good quality food too. The local pub just a short walk away has excellent dining for a relaxing evening too.”

“An internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didn’t stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.”

“Our families have used The Hinton Guest House a few times for their stays when visiting us in the area, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for 7 nights in December 2024, and once again, the experience was excellent. Ann has consistently been extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process straightforward and stress-free. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set this guest house apart. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “Amazing food, great service and unusual idea, all you can eat steak with the system of controlling when you wish to be served again by flipping the card from green to red. We visited last night for the first time and left really full and impressed. This is definitely not our last visit,the next time will probably come for bottomless service so drinks could flow as well. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience was just unforgettable including the deco and music. Thank you for having us and making our anniversary so special. “First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. Please visit this place you won’t regret it, we will definately be back, same again please ❤️”

“Tried here for the first time today when we arrived we were greeted with open arms and seated straight away which was a shock because it was soooo busy..the food was really good with a very generous portion and really good value for money.. Drinks menu was massive and beer and cider was so cheap.. Excellent place and well worth a visit..”

“I've been going here regularly for a couple of years. I always leave sharp and happy. Staff are friendly, chatty when I'm chatty, less chatty when I want a cut without conversation . I usually get cut by Craig or Jo, but since Jamie transformed my 10yo from a shaggy mop top to sharp and cool I'll definitely be utilising his skills for myself too. Slightly cramped waiting space and occasionally I'm waiting by the door or even outside, but always worth it. Reasonable prices.”

“Good for coeliacs. We have been here twice now to get my son some dinner and they was able to provide us a kids dinner, butty, crisp, and home made cake/brownie with a drink. Good when we only live round the corner and can find something convenient for him. They really have thought about alot off people this cafe, people that are not able to talk or write are able to place pictures onto the menu to show what they want. Good community cafe.”

“Decided to have a quiet midweek meal top celebrate my birthday and my daughter passing her driving test. Paul couldn't have delivered better service. he greeted us warmly on arrival and congratulated us both, which took me by surprise. He even had a birthday card and a congratulations card ready on our table. the service from Paul was attentive and friendly whilst the food was great too. we also took advantage of the tesco vouchers offer for a total bargain. thank you!”

“Diane the member of staff was very friendly and polite and allowed us to change tables for the amazing view over Manchester. There was no Turkey available on the Christmas menu, but there were plenty of other options available so we chose Gammon. The food was excellent quality and so delicious. We love the food and ambience here. A very nice place to eat and drink for any occasion.”
