“Really enjoyed visiting The Range here in Altrincham. There’s a huge variety of things for sale, spread across two floors, and there’s even a lift if you don’t want to or cant use the stairs. The lighting section is quite fun cuz the lights stay off until you walk past, then they all come on. Parking is really spacious, and there’s a McDonald’s and other shops nearby, which makes it convenient for a longer trip out. Definitely worth a visit.”

“After moving to Hale over a year ago now, I had put off trying to find a new hairdresser as finding one you can really trust is hard. So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. I feel so much more confident in myself and I am extremely grateful to David. He is an exceptional stylist and I will absolutely be returning and recommending the salon to others, including my mum who has just moved here and is looking for a new trusted hairdresser! “I am over the moon with my Great Lengths Keratin Bond Extensions that were fitted by the very talented Salon Manager Kirsty. I felt instantly welcomed by the friendly salon staff and Salon Owner Caroline, who offered and brought me a glass of prosecco - which is a lovely added touch. The salon is modern, clean and upbeat. “Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”

“Decided to have a quiet midweek meal top celebrate my birthday and my daughter passing her driving test. Paul couldn't have delivered better service. he greeted us warmly on arrival and congratulated us both, which took me by surprise. He even had a birthday card and a congratulations card ready on our table. the service from Paul was attentive and friendly whilst the food was great too. we also took advantage of the tesco vouchers offer for a total bargain. thank you!”

“Originally my partner and I called in for a ‘nosey’ as we love mid century/ Scandi design. What a great find…Tons of great stuff, vintage and new a real super stylish mix. Recently after our new sofa failed we remembered a handsome locally made sofa being displayed at Lot 54 and returned to obtain more info. Daisy was brilliant and discussed a myriad of details over a cuppa - loads of fabric samples offered - a very nice service indeed. We also bought a super chic throw which had a great discount so a total win win. Next time we’ll probably will start our furnishing adventures in this spot. Thank you”

The interior is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern and rustic touches. The staff really knows their stuff when it comes to food – you can tell they take pride in what they do. I also loved the music and the general vibe of the place – perfect for a relaxing break or catching up with friends. Highly recommend if you're looking for great coffee and a welcoming environment.
