“The young lady that served us was brilliant so helpful lovely and so helpful. The food was fantastic highly recommended the halal breakfast and my friend loved the omelette. The Earl gray tea came in the most wonderful tea pot and was fantastic. My friend loves the coffees so much has two cups every time. If you have never been you have to try you will not be disappointed I guarantee it. We will be coming once a week from now on may be more. I have to say that the toilets hear are really clean and the double seats one for adults and a second for children shows a real family cafe.”

“I had a couple of guinness. No food. Didnt see they had Murphys until late so i will be back for a pint of that They have tayto Great atmosphere here, people enjoying the craic or watching the GAA. I visited this pub when it was the Tavern. I wrote a bad review amd critised whoever was running it, as it seems like a nice wee spot. The new people who have taken it over have put some love into this. Well done. I went in with low expectations and was proved utterly wrong. I cant understand how they can offer a free buffett. I would urge you to give this place a go.”

“I had my wedding here last weekend and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!! The day was everything we hoped for and so so much more, and so much of that is down to the freedom the venue gave us to do things exactly how we wanted and the BRILLIANT staff!!!! I cannot recommend this venue enough - We had our wedding breakfast, speeches and evening reception there, and it was all just amazing. I need to mention that their fries are one of the best I ever had in my life! Only little negative note, not much of vegetarian pizza flavours. “What can I say! I’ve been coming daily to Kickback for my morning coffee for over three years. The coffee is excellent, that’s a given. It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. “Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”

“Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Brasserie Blanc is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience we’ll fondly remember and gladly recommend. Can’t wait to return!”

“This is a lovely restaurant. Went on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was busy but not overly busy. Servers are attentive and food and drink was served quickly. The prices are very good for what you get. Added bonus is that you can take your own wine/drink in (I don’t drink however they do serve soft drinks) Food is well cooked and there’s lots of it to choose from. Went for a few small plates and a large main (Lamb Shawarma). Well worth a visit.”

“I have been coming here often. I have tried so many Chinese takeaways before, but none of them beat this one. Staff are very polite and kind. They always give service with a smile and go out of their way to help. They welcome me with fortune cookies. The food always arrives hot and tastes delicious. Their delivery service people come on time. The place is clean. I am astonished by the generous portions they give you. It's like one portion can feed 2 people, and I end up sharing with my daughter.”

“We love it at The Hale Pizza Express. We come on a weekly basis knowing we will be warmly greeted by Massimo. The food is always perfect and tweaked to our liking. “If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”
