“Our Children (five and eight) are excited about adding to our family and have discussed a hamster.... My husband and I went to Pets at Home Bury to talk to an expert and discuss possible options and in particular what pet would be best for our family. We spoke to a lovely lady on the till who called over her colleague Maddie. Maddie talked us through options, and explained the nature and requirements of Hamsters, also looked to understand more about us as a family, how old the children are, how much activity we do, how much available time we have to properly look after and love a new pet. This was so impressive as clearly she wanted to ensure she advised us enough to help guide our informed decision whilst also having the welfare of the animal at the heart of the decision which is exactly what any ethical and compassionate pet store should do! She was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, clear and just so so lovely to talk to! We actually since talking to Maddie, believe that Guinea Pigs may be a better option for us, particularly because the are nocturnal and our daughter is still young, her bed time would be Hammy's wake up time! We were introduced to the available Guinea Pigs, shown a variety of housing options, Maddie explained the importance of nutrition, play, chew toys and behaviours to watch out for too as the Guineas get older. We are going to reflect in readiness for a joint family decision with Henry and Lils, but for now are just so grateful for the time Maddie spent with us. Finally, the Store Manager Raf was really encouraging about ensuring Maddie was recognised for her efforts - he was keen to encourage this recognition of his team and in my eyes, this is really good leadership! “I've used this shop several times even though it's not local to me, its a proper old school shop manned by blokes who know what they are talking about unlike some of the national chains out there. My latest visit was to purchase a new battery for my Seat Leon they tested the old one and explained what the issue was and the fact that the battery was on its way out and the fact that this was causing several functions on the vehicle to shut down and create warning lights as the car was trying to conserve power by turning stuff off. Great shop”

“After trying 2 other shops, I took a bracelet into this jewellers which I wanted extending for my sons 16th. It is a family heirloom and very special. The two previous shops had said categorically nothing could be done, so I gave it one last try here. The ladies were unbelievably helpful and caring, understanding why it was important to get this bracelet extended and keep it in the family. They came up with an amazing solution and had it sent away, extended and back within a week. All this at a fantastic cost. In short, this jewellers go the extra mile to help their customers. I can't speak highly enough of them- Thankyou!”

“It’s been a year with this salon and always providing good hair and skin treatment and suggestion. Shiva always dealt with me as visited for skin care, she suggested micro needling, hydra facial and some effective injectable vitamins. I went for micro needling and vitamin C it’s effective for my skin condition as I have dark spot and hyperpigmentation. Good services and impressive results. I prefer as it’s local to me and they always offer good prices for me. 100%❤️”

“Great shop for all your essentials for pets. Our Shih Tzus love the AVA Advanced Nutrition kibble for Shih Tzus and the pate in the tin. No issues at all with them refusing to eat which has happened with other brands in the past. They also drink more now as well which is good.”

“I visited here for the first time and I was pretty impressed. The store is really clean, well stocked and organised, something a lot of the local international supermarkets could learn from. They have a wide range of international products aside from their Turkish products, so I’d strongly recommend giving them a thought when looking for Caribbean, African, Asian and oriental items. The guy I was served by was very friendly and polite. Overall I’d highly recommend them and I’ll be sure to return.”

“Always is what it is with Morrisons, great salad bar that you can always layer up at. Great fresh meat and fresh vegetables etc, plenty of alcohol choices which always makes people happy! Could be more on the electrical gadgets side of things as I do find pretty much all Morrisons seem to be lacking in that regard, overall great store you know what you're getting with Morrisons!”

“I love my local tesco! Can't always get everything but most of it I can find there. Staff is very nice and helpful. Shop is always clean and tidy. The only thing that annoys me sometimes is those huge trolleys covering products and it is hard to find something sometimes or you got to move it on your own. But to be honest this is a small shop and there is not enough space so it's kinda understandable. But maybe they could restock early in the morning? Other than that I have no problems and never had any problems with Tesco”
