“Went in today on a walk in after I saw a Facebook post. I heard amazing things about this place but even they didn't do it justice. Jay gave me the freshest trim I've had in my life and was super friendly throughout. They are also advocated for men's mental health which I think is awesome. 10/10 will be going back!”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

“We were sceptical about staying at The Hyde venue as we knew it wasn’t as renovated as its local sites such as the Ashton site. Having recently visited to use the swimming facilities we were met by friendly staff so we decided to book an overnight here due to the low costs. Being regulars at sites such as Manchester’s dokota and the midland we naturally had high standards basing our recommendations off google and trip advisor ratings. I can honestly say after meeting Kai and Kiki at the bar they completed our stay. They were so welcoming and genuine honest people who cared to take the time to speak to you despite their clear busy work schedule. Before meeting them the staff were friendly but did the bare minimum. I feel I need to give a special mention to these two individuals because they go above and beyond what is expected and deserve to be recognised by management and higher as they have staff that exceed their pay grade. What they provided was above and beyond what any of the 5* venues we visit in Manchester City centre and we will return on the back of their hospitality alone. I hope this review allows the recognition they deserve, having started my career in hospitality at the age of 15 I know how hard it is to show care and general interest in clients but they do so in an impeccable manner. “The aesthetic in this place is phenomenal. I love the Bangladeshi touch to everything. You can tell they have put in a lot of effort and it does not disappoint. “Stopped into this pub on the way home from a weekend wedding to break up our journey. The chef and host could not do anymore for us. The food (mikes kitchen) was delicious I had a chicken roast and my husband had a homemade pie. Our daughter is a fussy eater they accommodated her perfectly. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, as we left they were setting up for karaoke, wish we weren't leaving.”

“Made an order for delivery and realised I’d made a mistake. Called shakes and bakes 20 mins later thinking it’d be too late and they were happy to amend the order for me. Really lovely staff who work there, just genuine people. Desserts are always 10/10, sweet diner is our go to most weekends!!”

“My mother regularly visits this cafe with friends so took me along too as I'm up visiting. We've been twice together now and I just love the food and cakes here! The lady owner makes the sweet treats which is impressive and the cheese toasties are something out of a dream. All melty inside and crispy on the top from the extra cheesy goodness added there. They make nice hot drinks and everything is reasonably priced (toasties £6 and very filling). It's a lovely place to sit in the park and the regulars are friendly. No one seems to hog tables so we have been able to sit there both times. However, in busy times there are plenty of nice benches in the park to take a coffee and cake. Lovely place and the ladies are nice and friendly, even when rushed off their feet. They always say hello to my mum by name (and to others I've heard) so they obviously care about their customers.”

“I went to Java after parkrun with a couple of park running friends. It was recommended by the team at Hyde parkrun and I can see why. There’s a really good range of food and drink available, and the prices are very reasonable indeed. We each had a really tasty, freshly baked pain au raisin, and one friend had the scrambled eggs on toast. This, along with three hot drinks, came in under £14. The service was first class, and they kindly replace one of the drinks I managed to spill. There’s only limited seating inside, but plenty of space outside. Highly recommended.”

“I have been going to this Cafe since my college days 6 years ago when it used to be a caravan and now it is a shop and the food still tastes amazing and consistent from the very first time trying it out. Bangla Burger is the best with rich flavour and spices and is very filling. I would highly recommend this if you are in the Hyde area/town.”

“Cheap petrol, plenty of pumps. Glad I'm local as this is my go to place, can do my shopping and fill up at the same time. You have to select how you will pay before the pump is activated however, but after that it's all fine. Cheap fuel, happy customer! I'll be back everyweek!”

“Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were outstanding and hospitable, the bar next to the lobby had a welcoming, cozy feel, wonderful menu and lovely rooms. I'm not sure about some of the complaints on the size, it seemed average to me, but it was very clean which is high on my importance list, as was the rest of the hotel. This hotel is away from the city bustle a bit, but a lot of trees around the property make it very relaxing and a pleasure to escape the traffic. My only feedback is the vegan sausage in the morning was freezer burned and a little bland, they can be tossed in oil & seasoning to add flavor, but fresh/defrosted is best. My veg pizza was wonderful, so was the veg burger. Great buffet in morning. Outstanding staff professionalism in housekeeping and lobby.”
