Their staff is friendly, and their service is prompt. The ambiance adds to the overall experience, making it a five-star dining destination for Shawarma enthusiasts like me! A Must Try!”

“Park on the side street, this place is small with two tables so if you’re coming with a big crew you maybe need to stand up and eat, the music is ok but the volume definitely needs notching down a bit. Me and two friends came and ordered the kings platter which came with dirty fries, wings, chicken breast, zinger burgers and more. The star of the show was the zinger burger and dirty fries which was 9/10 so definitely try them. A lil arcade machine in the corner for your pleasure to reminisce old times. Payment via cash or contactless and they also do milkshakes well. The owner is very passionate about the business and he has a team of ladies working behind and everything seems to work seamlessly. I will go again cuz I enjoyed the zinger burger and dirty fries.”

“Really impressed with this place. The staff were genuinely hospitable and professional – made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. The food was spot on. Starters were great, especially the lamb chops, but my personal favourites were the fish pakora and naga wings – packed with flavour. Curries were classic British Indian restaurant style, just how I like it when eating out. What really stood out for me was the calm, cosy vibe. Even though it was nearly a full house, it didn’t feel chaotic or noisy like some buffet places. Staff managed the floor well and created a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”

While we’re away, she’s completely spoilt and treated like a princess, which gives us total peace of mind knowing she’s being cared for and loved just as if she were their own. We also really appreciate the regular updates and photos—it’s lovely to see her enjoying herself while we’re away. Georgia and Oliver are so professional, kind, and welcoming, and they made the whole process of setting up our dog’s profile really easy. “Just wanted to share how fabulous Yomi (sorry if that's spelled incorrectly!) in the Bury store is. I've been in a few times and she seems to be on shift when I go in. I wear a larger shoe size so finding footwear at reasonable prices in a preferred style can be somewhat difficult. In my last visit, Yomi went above and beyond, found every shoe in my size for me to try as well as helped locate another pair of boots in another store. Yomi is super friendly and genuine and deserves recognition! Thank you!”

“I have visited this pub for over 40 years and it has had its ups and downs. It is most certainly now on an UP. The Holts bitter is consistently good and the Landlord and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Nothing not to like.”

“My family of 5 stayed there Friday to Saturday this week. The staff are amazing and so friendly I have 3 ASD children and the staff were lovely with them all. As we were checking in the lady gave each of them some cookies. The beds are so comfy and I'd paid for breakfast which can I say fantastic such choice which is perfect for my children as they can be hard to cater for. As we were about to leave the restaurant one of the male staff came over and gave my younger 2 a Terry's chocolate orange each. I would definitely stay there again and can't rate it highly.”

“Absolutely spot on! Ordered a half-and-half pizza (Mexican and Chicken Fajita), garlic cheese bites and peri peri chicken poppers — and everything was banging. The flavours were on point, loads of topping, and it all arrived piping hot. The garlic cheese bites were proper cheesy and the peri peri chicken had a decent kick without being too spicy. Definitely one of the best Papa John’s orders I’ve had. Will be ordering again soon!”

“Always get great food from here, Salt n Pepper king prawns, quarter duck, hot n sour soup, Shui Mai ........everything I've had has been very good, not had one bad meal and have been going for a long time, do ask for extra chilli as its not that spicy when ordering”
