“2023: Shoes wear out, so back again. Same staff, same great service! Once again, no hard sell, lots of shoes came out, running on the treadmill, comparing two shoes at the same time. You really feel like they want the best for your feet. They also stock a large collection of running apparell, so a one stop shop. Free parking is available from the superstore up the road, so you can get your shop get your shoes, job done! Great experience shopping for running shoes, assisted by staff that actually enjoy running. Whilst my wife was being helped, I was able to watch three other ladies being attended to, each was treated as an individual, with quite different requirements and all left with running shoes they had tried, compared and had had informed detail on each one. The prices of the shoes were in the end all around the same mark, not cheap but not stupid prices and what actually mattered was they were suitable for her running style, the running surface, her personal gait and lastly a style she liked. Worth the money rather than wasted money.”

“Woody & Son are very reliable and have fantastic communication skills. They went above and beyond to get my car working again. After the car part shop provided me with the wrong part, Woody & Sons where very understanding and returned back the following day and got my car working again. They had a fantastic understanding and knowledge of car parts and explained why the car part the shop provided me wouldn't work. Their honesty will in the long term save my car from further issues. “I came in with a list to buy Long weight, left handed screwdriver, skyhook, and hammer fluid. I was very nervous at first but the lads behind the counter pointed me in the right direction. I bought all those parts... the boys on site were dead chuffed with me, I got to operate the digger that DAY!”

“Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.”

“I have been hunting for a good Asian clothing site to place orders from as others have been untrustworthy, then I came across this site and this is now my go-to to order clothes from!! The service I received was amazing and I got my order way before the given time frame! The clothes are as shown on the website and the lady behind it all was of great help as I needed to match a Kurta to some trousers. I just have to give 5 stars! “This review will be updated with more photos eventually! Smashville Oldham is head and shoulders above the competition in the area. Using well seasoned prime mince and having some of the best chicken tenders around, there are many reasons to make a second order here. Initially, we bought the munch box, which comprises of a choice of two patties, two tacos, two tenders, a portion of chips, drinks and a waffle. I can't explain in words how good the box is, because each bit is as different and flavoursome as the last. The products in the pictures are a set of their seasoned tenders, Korean (spicy) tenders and a biscoff waffle. The chicken has a light batter that is crunchy to the taste and is smothered in Korean spicy sauce. Stronger than buffalo, it's something most people will find a comfortable level of heat. The review left here has to state that Just Eat are a shocking method to choose to buy food from these guys through. At no fault of their own, the Just Eat driver we had either ate or lost part of the order. Smashville went above and beyond to try and arrange a remedy on the day, but being a Friday it was busy and just not possible. They have however, made upon request, the missing elements of the order with some free additional tenders and a waffle to boot. I have genuinely never had a takeaway where the staff have been as polite or gone above and beyond to fix an issue that wasn't even their fault. We will be returning to Smashville and I encourage you to do the same. Screw Just Eat.”

“Heard a new chicken shop opened up in my local area, thought I'll give it ago. Was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service from the staff. The food was really good too, I ordered a spicy chicken burger meal and a half peri grill chicken platter. The grilled chicken was really tasty and covered in a flavoursome peri sauce. The burger was huge, and the muffin couldn't cover it all. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and will definitely be coming again.”

“Support your local independent businesses! Edgeley is lucky to have a pet shop on the high street. I have bought plenty of cat toys here and they also do refills for biscuits which avoids plastic waste.”
