The fish is absolutely incredible — I ordered it half an hour in advance so they could prepare it fresh, and it was worth every minute. A perfect fillet, no bones, beautifully seasoned, and cooked with real love. I added the jerk sauce, and honestly, it complements the fish so well… rich, warm, and full of flavour. The staff are outstanding too — decades of experience in Jamaican cooking, and you can taste that wisdom in every bite. They treat you like family the moment you walk in. This place has become my go-to for Jamaican food in Ashton. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. One Love. Unity in a time of division.”

“Good value for money food, a decent selection of real ales if that is what you like (a taster offered to my partner so it was easier to choose). Always a friendly welcome from the landlady and bar staff alike. Great quiz on a Sunday night with free sandwiches and beer tokens as prizes. Ps the aforementioned "landlord " is no longer there.”

“We love it here. Fantastic place for the kids. Staff are always fabulous, helpful and great with the kids. Food is good, not too expensive. Coffees good to. It is loud so if you have sensitive hearing taking some headphones would be advisable.”

Friendly staff service very well organised business even though it's hard for the business owner to continue to do so as specially more so in these pressing times it's hard for any businesses trying to keep servicing the community at the same time trying to survive and own a living.”

“Wow! wasn’t expecting this, Hartshead Inn on the verge of re-opening to the general public after a major refurbishment has elevated itself to become the best place in the area, in All aspects. Absolutely amazing, had an incredible evening! The interior is stunning, the food is amazing and what makes this even better, is how special the fabulous staff make you feel the moment you walk through the door. To have a restaurant pub of this quality has been long overdue in Saddleworth and the surrounding area. Big thanks to the Beth, Paige, Sam & Kaya for making the evening so memorable and to all the other members of staff working away in the background, was great to meet Megan and Craig from the corporate perspective too. So looking forward to returning very soon and on a regular basis.”

“Very good location, large beer garden. Very reasonable priced meals. Staff friendly and welcoming. Loads of offers on food throughout the week, very extensive menu. Plenty of choices. Only downside is if you go via the front entrance my auntie who uses a walking aid can not access the toilets. Other then this we've had a good few lovely meals.”

“Great staff. Small Starbucks in the hotel complex. Plenty of room though, including outside seating. It can be quite noisy and has a lot of foot traffic with the hotel, gym, bar and workspace right next to it.”

“Incredible burgers! I thought I'd give this place a go and was so shocked at how soft, tasty and Juicy the burgers were. They literally melt in your mouth! The sweet potato and French fries were both tasty and plenty of them. I wasn't massively keen on the wings and jalapeño bites but given how cheap they were, they are definitely worth the money. Generous portions of everything and very good value for money. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend trying one of their burgers.”

Exceptional customer services, real empathy towards my little boy who has autism, understood where i was coming from, accomodated us with upmost respect very pleasant and cheerful to speak with (service with an absolute SMILE!!) and a real aabsolute Starbucks, just what you need thr right kinda staff for the job! (David even came over to us to ask how our drinks were and if there was anything else he could!!) Amazing! Couldn'thave done enough for us made us feel really comfortable and at ease....He deserves an absolute payrise and 5 Stars for his Exceptional customer services!
