Dining experience memories in Manchester

“Stayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didn’t get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. I’ve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, I’d be happy to stay again.”

“Food was amazing.we didn't have to wait for the table at all as we were immediately taken to one. Hospitality of the staff was good. Overall good ambience and better experience. Plus it wasnt that expensive as compared to other places.”

“I had such an outstanding experience at Nando’s from the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what truly made it unforgettable was the exceptional service — especially from Cayo. Cayo was absolutely lovely from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel so looked after and valued as a customer. Cayo’s positive energy and professionalism really stood out and made the visit so special. The food, as always, was amazing — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and served piping hot. But it was the outstanding service that made this visit the best Nando’s experience I’ve ever had. You can tell when someone loves what they do, and Cayo brought that extra touch of care and joy that made all the difference. Huge thanks to the whole team, and especially to Cayo — you’re a star! I’ll definitely be back soon.”

“Clean, well laid out, good food, friendly and helpful staff. Hairdryer, small fridge, iron and board in room. Tea coffee making facilities in room. Close proximity to trams. Canal looks good at night surrounded by lights. Ample parking. Efficient lifts.”

“Without a shadow of a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to. Visited on a whim last night, booked an hour before they opened and were made to feel welcome immediately. A lovely little place with absolutely fantastic food. I'm not usually the adventurous type when it comes to food, but there wasn't a single thing I didn't finish. I honestly considered licking the plates! Each dish was a masterpiece, and if perfection is lots of little things done right then they nailed it. I cannot recommend the place highly enough, please go and show this little business some support, they truly deserve it.”

“Great food. What can I say. Only had the ribs this time with the Bonochi Garlic Bread and it was fantastic. Definitely be back on Mother's Day. I just wish I had a bigger appetite so I could try everything on the menu all in one night........oh and the food is probably half eaten in the pics because it just had to be dived into and eaten. “It’s been quite a while since I have last visited, and the quality of absolutely everything has not dipped in the slightest. The place is always clean and clear, with a comfortable atmosphere and welcoming owners serving fresh food and kind, sincere service. I highly recommend visiting for breakfast or lunch whenever you are available - you will enjoy the experience. But you may have to schedule your visit if you plan on afternoon tea - it can be busy for good reason!”

Thank you so much for making my aunt's 90th birthday such a special one and kindly allowing us to bring our own cake which was brought to the table in perfect timing and then cut for us beautifully. A family favourite of ours! 'Adult family' favourite, I may add. I wouldn't say it was a 'young family restaurant' as such. More of an adult dining experience, especially perfect for special events. To me, it feels special without being pretentious. The staff have always been incredibly kind, friendly and helpful; wanting you to enjoy your time with them. Thank you again. “Food is exceptional, I can't stop thinking about the my risotto marinara and for dessert, pistachio semifreddo on special is to die for! They have a small parking which was full when we got there on Sat evening, we had to find on-street parking elsewhere. Though we got a table just fine without reservation”

“Such an amazing place for breakfast/brunch! My absolute favourite spot, and not just for the great food, but also the cozy atmosphere (also dog friendly!), and the brilliant service! Especially David always greets everyone with a big smile and so much care, making guests feel welcome and wanting to come back time and time again! I've become a regular without even realising it and looking forward to many more bruches in the future! Would 100% recommend!”

“What a lovely little restaurant. We ordered garlic bread with cheese - amazing. Then cannelloni and risotto for main. Both came piping hot and very tasty. Sticky toffee pudding and profiteroles for pudding. The profitaroles were the best I've ever tasted. Service was speedy and reasonably priced. Under £60 for 2 with drinks. Definitely worth a visit. They also offered gluten free pasta and pizza.”
