“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“Wow! We ordered from the special Valentine's Day set menu and it did not disappoint! Such tasty dishes! Food was ready at the correct pick up time and was piping hot. Excellent portion sizes and high quality produce used (even better knowing it's locally sourced) Can't wait to visit again when lockdown is over and enjoy the quirky dining area on the bus. “I'd highly recommend eating at the Clink, the food was great and it was for a good cause. We would visit again if we're in the area. Perfect if you're visiting Quarry Bank. We had a lovely Sunday dinner here, with the lovely veg and roasties. The charred mackeral starter was marvellous, as was the panna cotta. The staff were pleasant, with great service and reasonable prices. Good toilet facilties, including disabled loo. Access ramp in place for wheeled entry, terrain mostly flat with parking located near the entrance”

“This place is not only a Gem of Chorlton but also a serious contender for the best Indian food in a very wide radius... Their Lamb karahi is the best I've tasted and I've eaten alot of karahi. Super tender lamb & loaded with flavour! Friendly staff & food that makes your belly happy, what more can you ask for! 10/10, wouldn't hesitate to recommend & already can't wait for the next time we visit!”

“Honest people and very friendly. I ordered a white ottoman gloss bed and a 250cm wardrobe and it was all so reasonably priced and fixed by them. Shabir and Sajid are kind humans and very honest. They rest assured me that if there are any problems they are a call away. They even helped me try to fix a dining table which I had lost the screws to through moving even thought it was not purchased in their shop. I will be buying all my furniture from here and I highly recommend them if you want good quality, great service, and above all a good price.”
