“I came in with my granddaughter last week, and I must say, the food was exceptional! Upon walking into the establishment, it felt as if we were transported to New York. As a proud American, I must say I felt right at home! My granddaughter, on the other hand—who is very hard to impress—took her time, but by the time the food arrived, her demeanor had changed. We ordered the Benny's Burger, the schnitzel wrap, and the sweet potato chips. I have to mention that my granddaughter did not make the life of the young lady at the till easy. With the number of notes my granddaughter gave for her schnitzel wrap, I was sure she would be laughed at by our server. Instead, we were met with kind responses, smiles, and absolutely no issues. The food came out very quickly, and all three items we ordered were presented exquisitely! Every note was followed perfectly. The service was probably the best I have experienced in this otherwise abysmal country. I come to England at least twice a year from New York to visit my children and grandkids. I try to give each one time alone with me so I can give each the attention they deserve. My son had mentioned that there was a splendid restaurant I had to try; he has ordered Uber delivery from you a few times. I truly recommend the dine-in experience! I will definitely be returning the next time I come to visit the kids. (I do apologize, as I had intended to share the photographs that were taken. But sadly, only my granddaughter took photos—she has the better phone and therefore the better camera—and she seems to be taking her time sending them to me.)”

“We went on Saturday night to try the dinner menu and ordered a set of small plates. They were all excellent. I don’t even know which one was my favourite! But the tuna tartar, pea risotto, tempura, and the lemon sole were absolutely amazing. Do not miss the orange flavoured white wine from Mendoza Argentina. It significantly enhanced our experiences, highly recommended! The service was attentive, knowledgeable abs kind. The atmosphere also provided a relax and mellow environment. The music played was also the right volume (hate it when some places are so loud you just want to leave!) We will definitely be back very soon.”

“Enjoyed my visit here. It's fairly pricey, but (as you can see from the photos) the portions are pretty generous and the good is delicious. I had the ham/pineapple pizza, with the caramelised pineapple being a particular highlight. The truffle fries were also tasty. Worth a visit, a lovely addition to Prestwich.”

“Great big neon signs to attract your attention. We ordered online (no honestly we were on the tram back from Bury) and collected our order when we got off at Heaton Park. Friendly staff and everywhere is clean, theres a few stools in the waiting area. We ordered 2 burgers, chips, cheesy chips and onion rings. When we got home the burgers were wrapped in foil and then greeseproof paper so they were still hot and fresh. The sauce is a little too hot for us but still very nice, onion rings were crispy as were the chips.”

“Went last weekend for meal with friends. Host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Service was promt. Food was excellent, served hot, portion sizes great, and so tasty!! Had the gobi manchurian, shared lamb chop starter. My friends and I had a fabulous time.....Will definately be going again soon, highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Used to go here regularly 17 years ago. Stopped today on our way through the Manchester area and ordered a takeaway. Same owner and they were just as efficient and friendly. The food was delicious, just a good as ever. The poppodums were a little thin (still good) but the onion bhajis were lovely. Overall good curries and an accolade that they are still as good all these years on. Thank you”

“Working my way through the extensive and varied menu. Pizzeria Bella Italia never disappoints. Even if you can't eat pasta there is something for everyone. My favourite starter is their garlic mushrooms....omg so divine!!! Who'd of thought how delicious the humble mushroom can be when cooked the way Bella does. I can't fault the food, quality, staff, atmosphere and magic of this lovely restaurant in Bury. It is popular with all age groups and families as well as couples. I had mussels in garlic and white wine. The veg is al dente and beautiful. I always look forward to dining here as the food and staff make you feel at home and always welcoming.”

Found Golden Crown based on a friends recommendation and happy to say we’ve found our new favourite! Bit of a drive but well worth it. We tried the combo for 2 and everything was amazing especially the crispy chicken in OK sauce. 10/10!!”

“Not been here since we moved near Farnworth for over 10 years. And went this evening as craved some noodles. So glad we went back! Service, impeccable! Food, spot on! Cooked fresh, tasty and nice portions. Needless to say, from now on I am making the 10 min drive to here, rather than our local now, as its hands down 100 x better. Lovely relaxed ambience with friendly attentive staff.bookings come with a 2 HR slot which is more than enough for a lovely relaxing experience which doesn't feel rushed allowing time to chat and relax between courses. My husband had the soup of the day and I had pate( I asked for extra bruschetta) and it came with more than enough!! For main we both had the chicken roulade which was exquisite , followed by strawberry cheesecake for hubby and sticky toffee pudding for myself, this was on another level,with homemade custard and a thin crispy topping. Amazing experience, definitely be returning soon.”

“Park on the side street, this place is small with two tables so if you’re coming with a big crew you maybe need to stand up and eat, the music is ok but the volume definitely needs notching down a bit. Me and two friends came and ordered the kings platter which came with dirty fries, wings, chicken breast, zinger burgers and more. The star of the show was the zinger burger and dirty fries which was 9/10 so definitely try them. A lil arcade machine in the corner for your pleasure to reminisce old times. Payment via cash or contactless and they also do milkshakes well. The owner is very passionate about the business and he has a team of ladies working behind and everything seems to work seamlessly. I will go again cuz I enjoyed the zinger burger and dirty fries.”

“Great birthday experience for the mother in law and family. Superbly ran pizza express in a lovely location. Food was fast and delicious. We were served by Polly and others from the team. They really went out to make our experience an absolute pleasure. Normally a pizza fanatic I tried the lasagna today, absolutely delicious, hot fresh and tasty. “Live around the corner from this pizza takeaway. It's not been open long so tonight we had the pizza takeaway and a garlic bread. First off ,real home baked pizza dough, second was the box was bone dry,no dripping grease under the pizza which was absolutely beut. The choice of garlic bread and pizza toppings are amazing. All in all.10/10 from me. New owners should be proud.”
