“You need a garage that you can trust and know they won't rip you off. I've used Queensway Auto's for a couple of years now, however today I left my car with Carl, with a suspected worn wheel bearing (car seemed noisier when on the motorway than before). However when I went to collect my car, I was informed they had tested all 4 wheel bearings, and could not find one that was faulty and needed replacement. The cost for their time to investigate? £0. I'm sure other garages could have replaced the wheel bearing unnecessarily and charged me, but as Carl said "it's pointless repairing something that isn't broken. Bring it back in 3 months and we'll see if there is any play in any of the wheel bearings". After chatting, it may be that the front tyres are getting close to the legal tread depth, so as I was already planning to do, I will get those replaced and see how things go. It's a small set-up, so getting an appointment same or next day may not be possible at all times, but I believe being small helps with getting a more personalised service once they know you, and your car.”
