“It was my first escape room and it was really fun. Our host Sham and all the other staff was super nice and helpful. We got guided through the escape room and eventually managed to solve it with a little help. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend. We did the blackbeard's treasure room, but i'm sure the other ones are fun as well”
“I booked Alice and Greg from Escape The Van for my office Christmas activity before the main function and all were thoroughly delighted with the whole experience. Everybody had a great time. I can highly recommend Escape the Van to any one looking for something different for private or corporate functions/events. I would not hesitate in booking this again in the future. Alice and Greg thank you very much for a excellent and pleasurable experience. I look forward to seeing you again soon.”
“Lloyd was a great host and the escape room was top notch. Went for my sons 11th birthday and we played the scare floor one (great for Monsters Inc fans). Really well set up, some tricky puzzles and Lloyd shouts up when you are going in the wrong direction.. definitely recommend.”
“One of the best and most varied choices of escape rooms out there, so much to do, so much fun and the team running it are absolutely first class. Just book it!”
“Nestled in the bustling heart of Manchester Arndale at Unit R3, Halle Place, Market Street (M4 3AQ), Immersive Gamebox transforms a compact room into a high-octane augmented reality playground. This isn't your standard arcade—don lightweight motion-sensing visors, and suddenly, walls pulse with interactive projections, surround sound engulfs you, and every gesture controls the action. Games like Shaun the Sheep's Mossy Bottom Championsheeps or Angry Birds pit teams against puzzles, races, and battles, all in 60-minute bursts of collaborative chaos. For kids' parties around age 8, it's an absolute winner. Tailored for ages 8+, these experiences demand no prior gaming skills—just enthusiasm and movement. My group of eight-year-olds squealed through sheep-herding mini-games and alien invasions, their energy perfectly matched by the physical, team-based fun that builds camaraderie without screens glued to faces. Private boxes for 2-6 players (multiple for larger parties) mean no strangers crashing the vibe, and dedicated birthday packages add pizza, fries, and unlimited squash in a post-game lounge—pure party fuel for £20-£30 per child.”
“Great escape room, friendly staff. May have some trouble calling, just try again a couple minutes later as the staff may be busy helping out some of the people in the rooms. Every room is fun and unique, Conclusion is really good. Price is cheap compared to other escape rooms. They also have a bar where you can order drinks if you're doing this with a group. Some of the rooms are "Scary". Missing and Kidnapped. But its just the atmosphere.”
“It was good family fun with our party of six. Christmas theme. Some clever props and animations. Elf powered? But a few clues helped us through the parts.”
“We have done two rooms now at the escape rooms and both were amazing. I honestly never thought of doing an escape rooms I'm quite an introvert but it's one of the best things I've done. We literally had the best time! If you're umming and ahhing let this be your sign to book it!”
“We played Space Evaders and Ellen was our host. She explained the game well and only gave clues when we really needed them which was great. The game itself was really fun, we did it as a team of 4 and there was plenty for each of us to do. We've played many escape rooms before and this room offered a loads of puzzles and with varying difficulty, so something for everyone. Would recommend!”
“We did the Dark Ages and it was brilliant! We found it challenging all the way though! Olivia was amazing and very friendly! Highly recommend”
“Thank you so much for a fab experience! We initially booked to do The Dungeon of Doom, but my youngest was too scared. Our host, Sam, was really helpful and reassuring, and allowed us to change to another available game (End of the Line) and even provided a cuddly companion for the duration of the game (Cosmo). We finished the game, and my youngest even said she wanted to play again!”
“The Vault was the perfect amount of difficulty for us (a group of adults on their first time at an escape room) and we had a great time. Highly recommend. Great clues, fun premise and helpful staff. Only issue for me was the music is too loud.”
“Great experience with the family for my daughter’s birthday. We did the tea party room. Harder than what we thought it would be but very good fun. Very well put together and great back story when we started to set the theme. Would definitely recommend and will be returning to do another escape room in the near future.”
“Used Blast Away a few times now for cleaning the roof of the house, cleaning the drive way and the paving in the back garden. Great guys, always do a fabulous job, definitely recommend.”
“Great set up and the escape room was great fun. We did Sawtopsy and really enjoyed it. The room had a lot of physical locks - combinations and key based.”
“Love Etherow park some really good walks.”
“A great location for a family walk. There's a free car park and small visitor centre/cafe. We did a full loop around the water before playing at the park. There were horses and donkeys in the field next to the car park and the kids enjoyed going up to the fence to say hello.”
“Always enjoyable here, my 18 month year old loves being able to run around. The food are always good, and the staff always welcoming! Always come on a Thursday morning and will continue to do so. Had my daughter's birthday party here as well, and you definitely get your money worth.”
“Excellent park following the river. Great space for bikers, dog walkers and anyone who just enjoyed being outside.”
“Super course in great condition. Nice clubhouse facilities and good food. Well stocked halfway house.”
“After our initial party booking was cancelled, We Are Adventures absolutely saved the day with an "amazing", (my 7 yr olds words), archery party. The staff were brilliant, the kids had tons of fun and it was all well organised and relaxed for the parents. Thank you so much.”
