“Visited 2/2/26. As a Disabled customer and I went on my own Firstly the hotel and restaurant are fully accessible. The entrance has a lift from street level and a button to call staff for assistance to operate the lift. Staff are very accommodating. There's a lift to the basement where the studio bar and lounge is located, it a jazz and singer style bar. Sophia was the most friendly and professional of bar tender The restaurant is a classic American bistro but in a refined and chic way and the food was succulent and favourful. The meat was *chef kiss. I highly recommend this place but male sure you book in advance.”

“I just celebrated my birthday and book release ("Sun-Kissed and Sidetracked") here, and I couldn’t be happier! The service was top-notch; the team greeted me warmly and made me feel really special. The food and drinks were delicious, and everything came out super fast. A lovely complementary dessert plate made my day. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone wanting a memorable meal! “Came in after work for a quiet bite and left very happy. Lady at the till was lovely, the special fried rice was a good portion and very filling, prices very reasonable.”

“Just excellent. I stayed one night to work locally. My bag was lost on the flight up, the hotel staff were super friendly and helped me with a few bits. Great breakfast also. When things go wrong it comes down to how people help and assist you. I would definately stay again. Many Thanks”

“Perfect over night stay before our early morning flight to Disney. We was checked in by Cibril (sorry if spelt wrong) who kindly gave us 2 drink vouchers for the bar. Another staff member asked if our little boy would like a biscuit and brought him out a shortbread. The rooms where lovely and spacious as well. Of course you could hear the planes but that didn't bother us, apart from that we thought it was a quiet hotel. The walk to the airport is between 5-10mins. Will definitely stay again.”

“Me and my mum went to zizzi on a Sunday afternoon ( expecting it to be busy but pleasantly surprised and was quiet plus school holidays) I had a free birthday meal to use and have been meaning to go to zizzi for a while so perfect opportunity Prior to going already knew what I was getting the vegan aubergine meatball pizza and 6 layer lasagna ( both cooked to perfection and went very well together!) The pizza had a spicy kick , super thin base and delicious toppings while the lasagna had a unique layers with a rich tomato sauce , pesto and crispy kale ( if seen in supermarkets and been tempted to buy from the freezer but glad I had in store ) The service was professional, welcoming and super good with allergens , overall a great time and highly recommend For families , dates , solo the perfect meal that’s reasonably priced , have a range of offers and deals plus if you get the app get perkz like this so the bill was 1/2 price and came to 2 for 1 on mains plus had a cider”

“I hired Adam for my daughter’s christening party having seen reviews and videos on social media and WOW he absolutely exceeded all my expectations! The kids had an amazing time with Adam, he was so full of energy and his interaction with the kids was great! He even got the adults involved too which was really fun! They played games, danced (to some great music), he did magic and animal balloons for the kids! (You can choose a package to suit your child’s age). I 100% would use Adam again for any future events we may have and will highly recommend to family and friends going forward. If you are looking for a children’s entertainer please book Adam because you will not be disappointed. I had so many people ask me where I found Adam because he was so good! Last but not least, another huge thank you to Adam for making my daughter’s christening party so special. X”

“My Dog had an amazing time here, lovely big secure open space in a very secure field. The Trainers are amazing, they know there stuff, my dog is such a calm boy now. There are so many opportunities to choose from Shows, fun days, photography shoots, events, professional trainer that come to the farm, social walks, group training sessions at all levels and agility, hoopers etc the list goes on and on. Well worth a visit”

“Odin’s Eye Tattoo Collective is the best tattoo studio in Bury. The studio has such a good vibe about it, all 3 of the guys, Sween, Tony and Louis work really well together as a team, you can definitely feel the love the studio! I ’ve had a couple of tattoos there with Louis. His attention to detail and process is amazing and he takes real pride his work. Would 100% recommend Louis and the team at Odin’s Eye”

“Super Smash makes amazing burgers! We tried the Pachos Smash Up, Juicy Lois, and the Original Crispy Chicken Burger. The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. You can really taste the difference. We’ll definitely be back!”

“What an absolute gem of a place!! 4 floors, FILLED with every kind of arcade game you could hope for, so no waiting in lines to get on the one decent game like in most other arcade places. A bar on each floor, making it really easy to get cold or hot drinks and a restaurant on the top floor selling pizzas, burger and hot dogs at half the price high street places charge. We had such a great day here and we didn't realise 8 hours had past. Will definitely be going again”

“Beautiful. Located in the quaint town of Uppermill, this chic cafe bar is a faithful spinoff of one of Uppermill’s best cafes, Caffe Grande Abaco. This cafe bar has a nice rustic and authentic atmosphere, like a traditional cafe bar you may find in Italy. Also, the staff are really friendly (10/10), especially Nigel (the owner), who was great to me. Plus, I went to Caffe Grande Abaco for 10 years, and it was quite emotional to meet Nigel, as I was always asking the staff at Caffe Grande Abaco, “Is the owner in?”. Now, back to Veloce! The cafe offers a variety of drinks, handpicked from CGA (at this point, I’m going to shorten it - Caffe Grande Abaco). So, you can have a nice latte or a cosy hot chocolate while you chill and warm up here. Surprisingly, it is also a deli, since they have charcuterie meats and cheeses, condiments, authentic Mediterranean pastries and biscuits, and even freshly baked bread (so authentic!). I tried Rogers Pistachio Cruffin (mix between a croissant and a muffin) which was crispy and flaky on the outside, but fluffy and indulgent on the inside, and the silky pistachio cream made it even better. Perfect for breakfast! They also do sandwiches here, with fresh sourdough and scrumptious meats and cheeses and even flaky sausage rolls. What I really want to mention, however, is the fact that they are supporting local businesses. Most things here (the pastries, products and even honey) are made by small businesses in towns near Uppermill, which is really nice as Veloce is helping out those businesses. Overall, this place is a must if you are looking for a proper Italian cafe bar, and some delicious food. It is also perfect if you want to buy some charcuterie meats and cheeses, as they have a wide variety of them. Only complaint is, Veloce really needs to bring in some Arancini, as I don’t see much Arancini in Saddleworth, and I’m very sad about that. “I have been a regular customer at this coffee bar ever since it opened the lady who runs the business is a wonderful welcoming and kind individual. I have visited many cafes around the area but in my personal opinion this has a more homely atmosphere to it. The food is spot on and I have never had a bad meal”
