It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. “It’s been quite a while since I have last visited, and the quality of absolutely everything has not dipped in the slightest. The place is always clean and clear, with a comfortable atmosphere and welcoming owners serving fresh food and kind, sincere service. I highly recommend visiting for breakfast or lunch whenever you are available - you will enjoy the experience. But you may have to schedule your visit if you plan on afternoon tea - it can be busy for good reason!”

“Best soup I’ve ever had!! Cosy tucked away hidden gem. I ordered the Tomato soup and Cajun chicken ciabatta. Portion sizes were big & value for money was amazing. The staff are very friendly & kind. Will 100% be coming again. The hot chocolate with marshmallows is soooo good.”

“I really like this cafe. Great breakfast and though recently increased in price, still excellent value for money. Egg, two sausages/bacon, hash brown, mushrooms, beans, tea/,coffee, toast or fried bread. Well cooked and nicely presented. Service is also quick and the ladies friendly. I have to go to Bury now and again and see the Coffee House as a real treat. Highly recommend.”

She is always smiling and makes everyone feel welcome. Her fellow staff are members are also lovely and Alex always makes the Starbucks experience great too.”

“Had a wonderful experience this morning. Ruby welcomed me with a smile and suggested an addition to my order which was phenomenal. Carlos brought my full order to my table and made sure I had everything I needed. Catherine bused the dishes from my table when I was finished and ensured I was satisfied with everything. I had a lovely conversation with all three of them after I was finished and left feeling very thankful this was the coffee shop I chose while I was in town for a day. “Visited today, with my friend and my toddler. They didn’t have many options for kids but that’s fine as my son was more interested in a sausage roll from the bakery. The food me and my friend had though was absolutely delicious, really well made. The coffee was really good quality too, a really well made cup of coffee not burnt or too hot.”

“A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”
