Really well thought through and executed sessions, With fantastic toys and accessories, always tailored to that weeks book. Cannot recommend these sessions and Hannah (who organises them) more highly, and we have already signed up for the next term!”

“Can’t fault the team at Chew’s health - Jack’s treatment, the admin staff and the wider team are welcoming and efficient, and the facilities are fantastic. Having been told I would need major surgery and my hockey playing days may be over, I’m delighted to have made it back on to the hockey pitch last week following a tailored rehab program from Jack. There’s also the added bonus of onsite parking & later evening appointments. I would recommend Chews health without any hesitation - thank you to the whole team!”

As he specialises in vocal massage he has helped me recover from vocal injury and keep the stresses and strains of life out of my neck and shoulders too. He is my go to physio whenever needed and I would highly recommend him to anyone.”

“Ian very accurately diagnosed what happened to the injury and easily detect the source of the pain. During the session he was patient, knowledgeable and very professional. He use an APP to demonstrate exercise plans for me to do at home and advise on what to do and what not to do. Highly recommended Ian.”

“I’ve been visiting most mornings and so far, so good. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, the swimming pool is excellent, and the gym staff are friendly and helpful. Changing rooms are decent, and The Cove next door is great for a sauna after a workout. The only small downside is the car park, which can get busy at peak times, although early mornings are fine. Overall, a great gym and pool with everything you need.”

“Can’t recommend Shay Trainor highly enough. I had a running injury a few months ago and went to see a physio in London who was unable to diagnose the issue but thought it was related to my hip. I was left unsure how to progress. I went to see Shay today who has assessed it as a piriformis syndrome and given me some exercises to work on. I am so relieved to have a diagnosis and also to have received expert advice on how to get back into running and fitness. A huge thank you to Shay. Your help is greatly appreciated.”

“I went in a couple of week’s ago for the first time because I saw they cut quite a lot of long hair and a couple minutes in I felt In good hand’s as Rihanna gave me a whole education on hair and the process of growing it after I had a amazing experience in the barber chair Andy showed me the clothing section upstairs telling me about how they are designed in house and made in the uk I was surprised at how good the quality and design was even ended up buying a pair of pant’s which are one of my favorite now.”

My trainer is based below the Backhealthy physical therapy clinic and asked Martin in passing to have a quick look at my MRI results. He translated the medical descriptions into laymen’s terms, made clear that I needed specialist attention and said he was confident we could resolve my issues in 12 weeks. I was sceptical at first as I had a mid-spine fracture, lower spine degeneration with occasional nerve pain down the leg, and arm/hand sensations due to neck issues. We are now focusing more on my knees and neck since my back recovered and all my symptoms have improved considerably….”

I love how I feel afterwards. My body is so much stronger, supple, flexible and without pain since I started at Equilibrium. “Large rooms with power points. The furniture is of a good standard and the kitchen is a very good standard. The cafe area near the kitchen has lovely circular tables that we covered in pretty tablecloths with artificial flowers on each table, each table could easily sit six. There is a creche area for younger children, clean toilets near the entrance way. A security system to gain access to the building that requires a code, so you can keep your younger children safe from wondering outside unattended. And let only your party in when you have hire of the hall. Large car park as well”

“This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. Plus plenty of accessible car-parking.”
