The hotel is also very close to the train stop, so it's easy to get around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. “Brilliant shop, but it went downhill for a time. The freezers were empty, so I stopped using it, I started going to Urmston, and the shop was packed out. The freezers were full, so that was my new go-to, so I thought I would give Eccles another try and guess what a new manager was in town and the shop was packed with great freezer products. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”
