“While shopping today, I witnessed one of the workers helping customer who was blind (had a quied dog).. the lady was walking him round the shop letting him link her arm and carrying his shopping for him.. it was truly beautiful to see! All other Staff was so polite also!”

“Absolute gem! First time ever ordering from Wok191 and it was New Year’s eve. Despite being so busy when I came in to collect, the staff members were so polite and helpful by suggesting a few dishes for my family to try. Top dishes: Crispy Aromatic Duck - perfectly cooked tender meat Wet Special Chow Mein - filled with meat and delicious sauce Singapore Vermicelli - tasty and flavourful dish, never had anything quite like it This will now be our go to Chinese, definitely recommend!”

“recently visited kilo biryani and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food and service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a relaxing evening. Food: We started with the chicken lollipop, chicken 65, Gobi Manchuria which was fresh and flavourful. For the main course, I had the chicken dum biryani, and it was cooked to perfection. The blend of spices and the presentation were top-notch. My dining companion had the another dish, which was equally delightful. We ended our meal with the double kA Meetha, and it was the perfect sweet finish.”

“We wanted to try and support local businesses when we bought our new house and appliance world in Urmston had been recommended. We can see why. We visited on a couple of occasions, once to browse and second time to order. The staff have the right balance of offering help and advice without being overbearing. One thing I liked was the man we ordered with didn't automatically steer us towards the most expensive appliances when we were asking questions to make our decision. He was v helpful and knowledgeable. I was particularly impressed when they delivered our washing early for us- the next day after asking -as our old one broke, for no extra charge. Would definitely buy from here again”

“Came in yesterday at around 7 to grab some food and a quick drink with a friend, Keira on the bar was lovely, very friendly, chatty & pours a lovely pint! Despite having a queue at the bar she still managed to keep a smile on her face and give every guest the best & quickest service possible. She even told us about a great deal on the restaurants app for two for one on the cakes, which we used to get desserts for when we was finished! The food was amazing, we had a farm giant burger and a mixed grill. Wonderfully cooked and presented! Will definitely be returning here!”

“I'm a big Aldi fan and lucky enough to live within walking distance of this store. I go there most days. (Sad but true.) Great prices, always well stocked and speedy checkout. What's not to like?”

“Huge respect to Pets At Home for only allowing those over 18 to buy a pet. Hearing a young teenage demand a hamster just because he wants one and the staff requiring him to be over 18. Great work as his intentions didn't seem pure. Proud of this store for protecting the animals as much as they can”

“Lovely wee park. Nature gardens, benches, monuments, big playground for toddlers to primary age. Very clean. Lots of dog walkers.”

“Very good range of products including food, DIY, homewares, toiletries etc and great value. Be aware that not everything is a pound these days though, some of things are more, but conversely I brought a packet of seeds fo 50p today. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Went to Urmston Interiors as we were struggling to find somewhere that could do us a 7ft by 7ft bed (my husband is very tall). Simon was very helpful in advising us which beds and mattresses we could choose from and got us a (very reasonable) quote on the day for a headboard, ottoman base and mattress. Bed was ready to be delivered ahead of schedule and the delivery guys were very efficient and friendly. The bed itself is excellent quality and the mattress is the comfiest I've ever slept on. Would definitely recommend shopping here! Great furniture at much more competitive prices than some of the big chains”

“First time customer. Went to the shop to order as it's close to home. It was busy (Sunday 6.30ish) always a good sign. Chose the Cocktail Masala, with Garlic Nan, Onion Bhajis, Poppadoms and usual accompaniments. The guy apologised for the wait which was only about 15mins or so which was less than I expected but they have that many Chefs it shouldn't have surprised me. It's an open kitchen, very clean, and reasonable prices. Will def be going back and definitely recommend.”

“Honestly the best pizza and burger takeaway in Urmston by a mile! Everything’s always so fresh, from the salad to the toppings. The grilled chicken is amazing and the Greek salad is easily the best around. You can tell they take real pride in the food it’s fresh, tasty, and consistent every time. Thank you!”
