“Chelsey was very friendly and seemed really invested in the welfare of our two guinea pigs, asking lots of questions about their likes and dislikes, as well as their behaviour. She did a great job cutting their nails and they seemed quite content when I picked them up. It was also nice to see photos of them on Facebook while we were away. Will definitely return!”

“We booked The Mews and The South Cottage for 5 nights for our wedding. The cottages were spotless, the interiors were beautiful and the views and ground of the cottages were stunning. It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. Would definitely recommend.”

“Another wonderful stay at the beautiful Rushop Hall this Easter holidays. We'd previously stayed here twice before in the bedrooms above the dining area of which both rooms were relaxing, comfortable and beautifully decorated. This time we'd decided to try the Pepper Pot, and we were blown away with the high standard. Particularly the attention to detail of this little cottage and the sheer comfort it provided us for our two night stay. Jan & Neil are amazing hosts, and provide you with exceptional customer service. Which has the right balance of being very welcoming but allowing you, your personal space-Really love this about them. Nothing is never too much trouble, so please ask them! Breakfast is delicious and beautifully cooked. Loved the additional fresh fruit & yogurt etc. Location is perfect, remote and relaxing with stunning views. Perfect surroundings for a wonderful nights sleep and of course beautiful views to wake up to in the morning. Thank you for making our stay just as delightful as it was 7 years ago. “This was our second visit to Kerridge End and we had another comfortable stay in The Hayloft. Good facilities for a wheelchair user with a lovely wetroom and shower chair provided. Very well equipped cottage having everything we needed. A lovely hamper was left for us on arrival and a delicious plate of homemade scones and jam too. Plenty of places to visit in the area.”

“We had a great time here, we stayed in Cabin 1 and it was so peaceful. We had our 7 month old to think about and this worked well as we could have dinner and relax in the evening and she could sleep in the cot in the bedroom and we wouldn't disturb here like we would in a hotel in one room. Staff were lovely and friendly and the site was clean. Hot tub was great to chill in the sunshine. Lovely walks around Dovestone Reservoir just a stones throw away. Have already recommended to family and would absolutely recommend again particularly for young families who like lots of countryside walks and exploring the local area.”

Based at the foot of kinder scout, ideal for walkers, cyclists, rasmblers or a chillax break for the whole family. “Myself, daughter and dog recently stayed 2 nights at Travelodge Central Manchester on 17th - 19th August 2021. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was lovely to 'get away from it all'. The only disappointing thing about the room was, there was no hand wash in the bathroom and the pedal bin didn't work.”

“Great food. What can I say. Only had the ribs this time with the Bonochi Garlic Bread and it was fantastic. Definitely be back on Mother's Day. I just wish I had a bigger appetite so I could try everything on the menu all in one night........oh and the food is probably half eaten in the pics because it just had to be dived into and eaten. “We left our dog Rolo for 16 nights, they sent us pictures of Rolo which really made us feel better, they are faultless, very professional, we wouldn't leave our precious pet anywhere else. When we collect him you can tell he he been looked after.”

“Had a 2 night stay here for exploring the local attractions, the hosts are very Friendly and knowledgeable. A good choice of breakfast items that the cook for you fresh, good quality food too. The local pub just a short walk away has excellent dining for a relaxing evening too.”

“Taken our dog there a couple times over the years as he rarely goes into kennels (normally comes with us) but this kennels are very carering to his needs, he always comes back very happy, like he’s enjoyed himself.”

The fragrance of the facility was welcoming. The shared kitchen was neat and well equipped. The beautiful thing about this property is the location. “I have just received the pink waterproof coat for Biscuit our 18 month old West Highland Terrier. She looks absolutely gorgeous in it and it fits perfectly. “The first plus is the service. Everyone we encountered was super helpful, polite and generous with their time!! The room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable! We slept very well! The neighborhood is very nice. Avenues lined with mature trees and attractive houses. 15 minutes to airport without extra traffic. 7 minutes by car, into adorable town with great and varied restaurant options! Oh, and affordable for this retired couple.”
