“As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was. Full of flavour and such a great find here in Manchester. I had ordered the egg curry along with the mushroom xacuti and loved both. The portions are also generous so would highly recommend to people who want to try goan food or just want to be reminded of back home. The couple and their family were also extremely sweet and welcoming. Will 100% order again.”

“Couldn't star the food as we didn't have any HOWEVER.... the lady who owns The Gallery is an incredible artist and it shows in the decor. Before I go any further, this is also a great bar with lovely cocktails. Stunning is an understatement, there is something interesting to look at everywhere you turn. Inside and outside, just beautiful, a gorgeous place to visit. I just wish she opened every day and night, but alas, only Thursday to Saturday. Friday being the only late one till 10pm. Go and visit, you won't be disappointed.”

“Beautiful. Located in the quaint town of Uppermill, this chic cafe bar is a faithful spinoff of one of Uppermill’s best cafes, Caffe Grande Abaco. This cafe bar has a nice rustic and authentic atmosphere, like a traditional cafe bar you may find in Italy. Also, the staff are really friendly (10/10), especially Nigel (the owner), who was great to me. Plus, I went to Caffe Grande Abaco for 10 years, and it was quite emotional to meet Nigel, as I was always asking the staff at Caffe Grande Abaco, “Is the owner in?”. Now, back to Veloce! The cafe offers a variety of drinks, handpicked from CGA (at this point, I’m going to shorten it - Caffe Grande Abaco). So, you can have a nice latte or a cosy hot chocolate while you chill and warm up here. Surprisingly, it is also a deli, since they have charcuterie meats and cheeses, condiments, authentic Mediterranean pastries and biscuits, and even freshly baked bread (so authentic!). I tried Rogers Pistachio Cruffin (mix between a croissant and a muffin) which was crispy and flaky on the outside, but fluffy and indulgent on the inside, and the silky pistachio cream made it even better. Perfect for breakfast! They also do sandwiches here, with fresh sourdough and scrumptious meats and cheeses and even flaky sausage rolls. What I really want to mention, however, is the fact that they are supporting local businesses. Most things here (the pastries, products and even honey) are made by small businesses in towns near Uppermill, which is really nice as Veloce is helping out those businesses. Overall, this place is a must if you are looking for a proper Italian cafe bar, and some delicious food. It is also perfect if you want to buy some charcuterie meats and cheeses, as they have a wide variety of them. Only complaint is, Veloce really needs to bring in some Arancini, as I don’t see much Arancini in Saddleworth, and I’m very sad about that. “Wonderful place for breakfast especially if staying at the Crown Plaza, as we have several times. Not only is the food great, the ambience and decor is charming with its plants and each table having an old fashioned glass milk bottle with cute stainless steel cups for drinking water! It’s a popular place so today we arrived as they opened in order to get a seat. It soon filled up. This place does a lot of takeaway breakfasts also. We were served by the lovely and friendly Josh and ordered the amazing French toast along with the Turkish eggs with chorizo. Coffees were great as well. Service is polite and efficient and we’ll be back tomorrow!”

“Sandwich Heaven provided the catering for our granddaughters First Holy Communion Party at our house last Saturday. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Everyone tucked in. Sarah was so helpful with making menu suggestions for the adults and kids for a party of 30 people and then setting up the buffet on the morning of the party. We were so pleased with the quality of the food and service provided and we will definitely be using Sandwich Heaven again for party catering again . Thank you guys!”

“I can honestly say that my wife and I thought this was the best kebab that we have ever had and we are both in our 50`s. The home made chilli and garlic sauces were delish and the kebab meat was so flavoursome with 4 differnt kinds of meat all cooked to perfection, If i could award 6 stars I would, deffo going back here again”

“A taste of authentic Mexican culture nestled within the hustle and bustle of Manchester’s curry mile. Don Tacos flagship cuisine is their delectable birria offering, and is perfect for a Friday evening takeaway (which this brief review describes). Our party sampled a range of items from the menu including birria tacos, burritos, quesadilla and tacos. The food, as usual, was delicious. It’s on the expensive side for the portions you get, but I’d say it is still reasonable value. As per any good Mexican culinary establishment, Jarritos were available. I recommend pineapple or mango. Delivery seemed efficient, with a reasonable speed and items arrived in good condition. The packaging is elegant and tasteful. This review will stop here for now, but more details will follow on a dine-in experience, which I greatly look forward to soon.”

Pleasantly surprised, good food and if you go to collect, you can see the chiefs making it i n front of you. Does say cash only on a little note but don't let that put you off they have a machine for cards/phone payment. Will be going back,fab Spring rolls(Chop suey rolls 2x).”

“Small but packs a punch. Only a small cafe but the welcoming was lovely, service was very attentive. We went for breakfast, the menu had a great choice of healthy and the usuals. We had a bit of both. Freshest ingredients used and looks like locally sourced, where that could be achieved. The food was hot, tasty, and well priced. The atmosphere seems busy with all the plants but I get that the view outside isn't the greatest. Could look smart with different table surfaces/covers. Don't let the location put you off as this is a little gem for food and service.”
