“This place is under relatively new ownership amd they have taken this chippy up levels. Fish was amazing, lovely crisp batter on the cod and really good peas and chips. Huge portion size too. Now my go to chippy. If youve not tried it recently get yourself there.”

“A lovely little local pub serving great food. Nice decor and relaxing atmosphere. Dogs are made a fuss of and very welcome. The Sunday Roast is the best in the area. Fresh and Tasty food at a good price cooked to perfection by Jessica. And Kim on Front of House is just a joy. Friendly and attentive and goes out her way to make everyone feel welcome.”

“Been twice recently, once for breakfast once for a carvery. Both time the food was fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The chef came over both times making sure everything was OK and had a chat when we had finished our meals, bar staff are lovely and welcoming too. “Have been here 3 times as my auntie and uncle live nearby and her hairdresser recommended it. Was definitely not disappointed chips were so tasty crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Fish was massive and the batter not too greasy and cooked really well. I was given a pot of Irish curry to try and that was delicious so ordered it next time we went. Staff are so nice and friendly and prices are very reasonable compared to others. If you're looking for proper chippy chips give this place a try!!”

“Had several takeaways from here and it's always been absolutely outstanding. Food is always hot, fresh and in perfect condition. The delivery driver is always pleasant and punctual. Prices are competitive. We generally go for the standard fish and chips or kebab meat and chips and both options are really good. The fish is flaky and soft with a delicate and tasty batter. The chips are really tasty. All portions are generous.”

“My absolute go to Chinese in the area. The portions are very well sized for the money and most dishes come with the rice or chips included. The food is always very hot and well presented. The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.”

“Good fortune has been my new main Chinese restaurant for good reasons. One of those reasons is how succulent the crispy chilli beef is it’s like heaven and not to mention how nice the egg fried rice is. And the most I’ve ever had to wait for my food is 10mins at max.
