“We booked the Daisyfield for a Confirmation party. They offered a cold buffet and a choice of hot pies. We choose a mixture of both and were very impressed with the high quality, portion sizes and value for money. The children had an absolute ball playing in garden to the rear. There were chickens and rabbits for them to see plus some play equipment. As it was Easter Sunday there was also a DJ and Easter egg hunt. All in all we were made to feel very welcome and great atmosphere. Good time was had by all. Thank you.”

I've also never seen such an array of flower species all in one bundle before! Hollie also managed to source tulips, in August! (Dutch background, so this was incredible), which we never expected to be possible. Hollie was with us bright and early on the day, gave clear instructions, and set up the venue perfectly. “'La Sensationale' Me and my partner have just been for the 1st time, and had a meal on a Saturday evening (6.00pm sitting). The place was packed when we walked in, so we thought that must be a good sign!? All courses were GORGEOUS and the portion sizes, although at first appearance seemed rather small, were actually just right! All staff that served us were lovely; very friendly and polite, which helped to make our visit feel extra special... This included the manageress who clearly runs a very well controlled operation as empty tables were cleared, cleaned and reset in a very fast and efficient manner! “Really nice lil cafe, friendly staff, the coffee here is amaaaaazingly good a must try also the food looks top drawer!!! Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

“Hidden in a side street is this excellent small family owned restaurant. Sebastian the Italian owner was extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was genuinely the best Italian we had had for a long time (in fact some members of our party even said it surpassed the food they had in Italy). The prices were fair and service was excellent. If you’re in the area it’s absolutely worth grabbing lunch or dinner here, we will definitely be returning when we’re next in Manchester.”
