From the original qualification of our budgets and requirements to the timings and transfers, whilst we were there, everything was perfect. We were given several choices of hotels at each location and we couldn't have been happier with our choices. Nick was also always on hand to answer any questions and give advice prior to leaving. “Mayfield Park is a unique little gem in Manchester!! It’s not very big, but it offers lovely seating areas and is great for a relaxing walk. Especially beautiful around sunset when the lighting in the park comes on and adds a cozy vibe. There are quite a lot of security cameras around, which might bother some. Other than that it’s Manchester’s most beautiful park!!!”

“Went for something to eat. Great service and a good menu to choose from. When the food came it was top quality and value for money. We went in the dark so found the drive a bit tricky but that would not stop me from going again.”

“We went to little buddy's for there toddlers only Halloween party with our one year old. There is two different large soft play areas that are really good with multiple layers and a big slide all of which seems well maintained. one for younger children (under 4) and one for older children aswell as a sensory area and small ball pit. The staff are friendly and attentive and seem to enjoy there jobs. There is a café catering for both adults and children with nice food as well as having really good coffee and a range of soft drinks everything seems to be kept to a good standard of cleanliness. They also do classes for children such as messy play which my girlfriend attends with my daughter who thourghly enjoys it. Overall I would recommend a visit with your little ones.”

“Amazing authentic guest house. Location is ideal as it's central to Hollingworth Lake and Littleborough or Smithybridge Station. Rooms are spacious and ensuite. Tea and coffee and nibbles in the room and a big old bay window. Really friendly owner who couldn't do enough for me . Fully recommend as a solo, couples, or family visit.”

“Our families have used The Hinton Guest House a few times for their stays when visiting us in the area, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for 7 nights in December 2024, and once again, the experience was excellent. Ann has consistently been extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process straightforward and stress-free. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set this guest house apart. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “I had a great stay here. The bathroom was modern and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was really nice. I asked for cheese to have for breakfast and they brought me some. The breakfast basket they provided contained some nice items. I had a one day stay for business. Booking was through our corporate system. I managed to park on premises, no issues as the site is safe. Upon leaving they requested payment, I mentioned that the corporate booking company would settle, and offered to leave my details in case of issues, they appreciated this. No problems whatsoever. I'd definitely stay again when visiting Manchester for business. If there's one thing I would like them to improve is the breakfast offering. There's a fridge in the room, please offer slices of cold cuts such as cheese and ham along with bread and butter, you don't need to leave these items in the fridge for every guest but I do believe you should have them on demand if requested. I was provided two small blocks of cheese rather than slices, I was happy to have the cheese but I was unable to have a "proper" breakfast sandwich of buttered bread with cheese and ham slices... a chunky block of cheese does not taste very good in the middle of a huge piece of bread.”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

From our first initial enquiry, right through to the wedding day itself Any questions we had were dealt with quickly. They put us at ease and let us enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend The Bowdon Rooms enough for a wedding. A beautiful unique venue. Our guests were blown away, and we’ve had nothing but compliments since.”

“Fantastically friendly and knowledgeable staff, went in today for some new running trainers as mine were old and giving me issues, explained this to the gent who served me, and after assessing my feet and gait he was able to explain exactly what was causing my issues and offer me trainers that matched my needs. I feel very very chuffed with the service i received and the pricing matches that of many other retailers so well worth a visit! 11/10 would recommend!”

“Head Over Heels is hands down the best play area for kids in Manchester. The space is clean, safe, and full of activities that keep children entertained for hours. The food is halal, which makes it an easy choice for families like ours, and the hot chocolate is honestly exceptional — rich, comforting, and the perfect treat after a busy play session. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, but Maria deserves a special mention. She’s always available, incredibly professional, and her warm smile never fails to put us in a good mood. Her presence genuinely elevates the whole experience. Highly recommended for families looking for a reliable, joyful, and welcoming place for their children.”
