“A lot of people will disagree with this as the reputation of the Navigation Hotel is not great, but having just returned from an early afternoon meal there, I have to say it was excellent. The food can't be faulted, it's not haute cuisine, but good pub grub, with some nice options on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I much prefer it here to many other places that are more popular. Prices are very low, the fact that there are no cask beers is a little disappointing, but I was there to eat, and the John Smith's is adequate. Yes there are screens showing football, but it was not overwhelming and it wasn't full of drunken fans. I would certainly recommend the Navigation and will be back soon.”

“Highly recommended with a warm welcome...... As we all do..I had a lot going on when I was moving and rang a couple of estate agents and felt like it was a conveyor belt and a number. However, Rooftops are the ideal 'friendly and welcoming' helpers to find you your home. I worked with Angela mainly whos fantastic, but all the ladies at Rooftops Hale have been amazing. Very professional and nothing felt rushed. Clearly all staff there have the skills to understand how it can be moving home and they accommodate for that.”

“We needed somewhere to crash for an extended period of time before a flight. The staff here were very helpful when we arrived. We can not fault the guy on the phone and the lady on site for how good they were to us. The room was a lot more spacious than expected and it had the cricket test on the telly. The bed wasn’t amazing, but the room was cheap so we were not expecting the Ritz. We got lunch nearby at San Carlo, which was very close and tasty.”

“Absolutely brilliant. If you are flying from Manchatten airport port. It's less expensive than booking the airport parking. Only slight downside. For a 6 am flight the shuttle bus doesn't run until 3:00 am. Even then veezu is around 20 quid.”

“Thee staff were warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were more than generous. We had both starters and mains, and honestly, we were too full to even consider dessert. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and experience made it well worth it.
