“I can't recommend the Doggie House highly enough, everyone is fantastic they really care and love all the dogs that go. We lost our dog in December she had been going to the Doggie house for 8years or so, our new girl wolfie is now going and I know when I leave her she is haveing a great play time. I would definitely recommend the Doggie house.”

It is evident that he is well walked and cared for during his stay. I would highly recommend the kennels and prices are very reasonable. The country working farm surroundings are also second to none and really helped to make Hugo feel at home.”

Well worth a stop if using the airport to go on Holiday. Good for when you need to entertain at a restaurant. Would not hesitate to recommend, good chain of hotels with decent standards at all times.”

“Nearly didn't book here due to some bad reviews. Glad I did because the place is fine. It does look a bit tatty on the outside but it is OK inside. Although it is on a main road into Manchester we were surprised at how little traffic there was overnight. Our room was overlooking the road and we had no problem with traffic noise. It had acoustic double glazing that was very effective. There is no air con but a fan is provided which helps. We were there on one of the hottest days/nights and found it tolerable. The meal deal was good. You eat in the pub which is attached to the hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't have any real ale but the Draught Guinness was good. There was a selection of lager and cider. So don't be put off, if it is convenient for you go for it.”

“The host Barry couldn’t have been more welcoming. I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a double room which was lovely and very large. I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely deep bath and a really large TV. The hotel is being renovated so the upstairs area is not yet completed but it has so much potential. The Bar is beautiful and has a lovely terrace which is very popular. The price was very very reasonable. I would really recommend it. As a single female I felt very safe”

“Lovely place. 10/10. Excellent communication, easy to book. Access is via a keysafe, very simple. The room we had (No.1) was beautifully decorated with a lovely ensuite. There was a Nespresso machine, kettle, complimentary teas, coffees & even a lovely bottle of red wine waiting for us. The proprietor Tony communicated via whatsapp which made things easy. The bed was very comfy and we had a lovely stay. 2mins walk takes you to a fabulous Italian cafe (Nostro Cafe) & you need travel no further. A lovely little hotel I am sure we will use again.”

“I recently completed Umrah with my mother under the guidance of Heritage Umrah/Mayar Travel and I would like to commend the team for their professionalism and exceptional level of care throughout the journey. Our group leader, Amr, demonstrated outstanding organisation and attentiveness from the outset. He provided clear and consistent guidance during the performance of Umrah, ensuring I was supported and fully informed at each stage. When my mother required a wheelchair to complete her Umrah, Amr arranged this with great efficiency and consideration, allowing her to participate comfortably and with dignity. During my time in Makkah, I experienced a period of illness, and Amr provided valuable assistance by accompanying me to the hospital and facilitating my treatment. His calm approach and reliability offered significant reassurance to both me and my mother. The ziyarah visits were also well structured, with ample time allocated for reflection and prayer. “Our kitten Louie has stayed here twice now with a third time booked in. The owner Heidi is so lovely, kind and incredibly accommodating and takes such good care of all the animals! The pens are very spacious and have lots of toys to keep them entertained. We know he’s in safe hands and honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!”

“The best person to leave your dog with! I can’t say enough good things about Debby and how great she has been at looking after my puppy George. He adores her and loves going to doggy day care with her. I know when I drop him off I don’t have to worry and can set off for work rest assured George is going to have an amazing day and be well looked after. After lockdown I was called back into work with short notice and I tried leaving George on his own for a few days for short periods and when seeing how distressed he was I searched for a doggy day care online. After seeing Debby’s reviews I sent an online enquiry and she called me within a few minutes, offered me to pop over there and then to see her house and meet her and now George goes to her five days a week and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. She has a great set-up in her home and garden where everything is secure and I feel like it’s another home for George where he is shown love and affections as well as being able to socialise with other dogs. He gets lots of exercise, playtime and food and I get to pick him up at the end of each day super happy and pretty tired which is perfect for me after a long day in work. Debby is always accommodating and I know she will always make decisions based on what is best for all the dogs to make sure they are happy and safe. I know there are larger set ups for doggy day-care but what I love about Debby’s house is it’s George’s second home and he will only ever be around other dogs that have been vetted by Debby to ensure they can play safely. Debby sends regular updates throughout the day of George having lots of fun and he is so desperate to get to hers in the morning he barely eats breakfast! I really couldn’t recommend a better person to look after your dog! Thank you Debby!”

“Tanya's place is absolutely wonderful - we couldn't imagine leaving our bunny with anyone else! We have a house rabbit so she is used to lots of roaming time and Tanya always makes sure she gets regularly let out to explore, keeping us up to date with videos when she can and and our bunny absolutely loves her little holiday here. Tanya cares for her like she is her own. She is so knowledgeable and always gives such great advise. The facilities are amazing - central heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. All food is included and Tanya always makes sure they have the best veg and hay. Can highly recommend :)”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

Amanda was great, she trawled through so many options, destinations, dates and airports to try and get us away this week - took all the stress away from our morning ordeal, checked us in, everything sorted and fir a good price too. “Just spent a fantastic week at Swan lake villa and cant thank all the staff at The Real Algarve enough for all there help in choosing just the right villa for all 13 of us. Enjoyed it that much have booked to go back already. Great service in the Algarve from The Chauffeur company. The villa is a bit tired now and could do with a little refurb however the grounds Pool and Tennis courts are amazing and make up for it as almost all our time was spent out doors. We ate outdoors all the time on the huge terrace and had enough space around the massive table for all of us. Cant fault a single thing in the service we received, cant wait to be back”

The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Brasserie Blanc is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience we’ll fondly remember and gladly recommend. Can’t wait to return!”

“We got married at Rylands Farmhouse in May and we couldn’t recommend it enough. From our first viewing of the venue to the morning after our wedding the service provided was second to none. The staff went above and beyond for us at every opportunity and nothing was too much to ask. Our wedding guests were blown away with the venue and the staff. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Luis was with us from the beginning and throughout our whole wedding day and he was absolutely amazing! The service was absolutely excellent — Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on — the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. A great atmosphere, great service, and great food — we’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!”

“This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”
