“This place has been going for years and I still remember when it was located on the opposite side of Acres Lane where the car sales garage is located now. The food has always been delicious from chips with the Chinese flavoured gravy to the excellent Chinese meals. Sun Lok has always set the benchmark for a chippy in Stalybridge and if they joined a delivery provider likeJusteat, I as well as many others would order from here more often.”

“Second time I’ve tried this chippy and both times have been great! Not sure where the bad reviews come from? Salt and pepper chips were nice and spicy and the mini veg spring rolls were perfect! “We ordered the AK burger and the clucking hell burger. Both absolutely delicious, generous portions and really well presented.We had the waffle with mint aero too which was amazing. I preordered and it was ready bang on time, staff are really friendly and the shop itself is really clean and modern, they should really think about opening a restaurant! The only downfall is that as it’s so close to my house I’m probably going to put all the lockdown weight back on that I’ve just tried to shift. The chops and the rest of the food did not disappoint, the chops where tender and full of flavour, the curry sauce was a great portion and the garlic cheese naan was the best I’ve ever had. “Had takeaway from here for the first time last Wednesday. It won't be the last! The food was lovely. I made my own veggie pizza which was really tasty, my dad had a Hawaiian pizza which he enjoyed and my mum had a gourmet burger which she said was really nice. We ordered chips and onion rings also. Before the food came, we had been saying how takeaway chips aren't usually that nice as they are quite soggy, however, we were pleasantly surprised at these as they were lovely and crispy, as were the onion rings. The delivery driver was very friendly as well. We will be regular customers here!”

Everyone is friendly the facilities are great and you get so much more flexibility with government hours because they're private. Staff are a little disorganized but no complaints other than that.
