“First time visit at 1730 on a December weekday. Fairly quiet on arrival but warmly welcomed and sat down at a table. The restaurant is very modern and nicely decorated for Christmas. Menu is extensive and has a good selection for both meat and vegetarian options. All drinks are non-alcoholic which wasn't a problem though the content of the Sangria cocktail did use a soft drink with a sweetener. They serve normal Coke but am unsure of other non-sweetner drinks. The food was excellent, all freshly prepared. Some additional table presentation for the giant meatball was a nice touch. Good sized portions for all courses. Taste was excellent and the Turkish baklava with the extra table presentation was divine. Service was added to the bill and well deserved. All the staff were attentive and did their jobs well. The restaurant was busier as we left with families arriving. Overall a 5* and would definitely return.”

“Saw this new place while walking the dog and decided to pay a visit later. I’ve never had Turkish food, so I ordered the Alibaba For 2 which contains decent portions of every item on the menu. The kebabs were fresh and juicy and it came on a bed of rice, so the rice soaks up the taste of all the kebabs. If you’re not sure what to order I recommend the Alibaba For 1 (or 2) so that you can get a taste of every item they have. I was very impressed, will definitely order again!”

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Maral, the lovely owner, is such a kind and welcoming person — she goes above and beyond to make sure every guest is happy. The food is absolutely delicious — everything from the starters to the main dishes was full of flavour and beautifully presented. I had the Jojeh Extra Koobideh and Baghali Polo with Lamb Shank, and they were cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable too, especially for the quality and portions you get. We even had a wedding party there a few months ago, and everything was perfect — the food, the service, and the whole experience. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about their guests. If you’re looking for authentic Persian food in a lovely setting with great people, Persia Grill is the place to go. “Rice and Three Curries £8! I have been to quite a few Rice & 3 spots around Manchester and this takes the number 1 spot. Firstly it gets 5 / 5 on the food hygiene rating and has been around for 30 years. Really convenient location for Northern Quarter and Picadilly area and although there are only four tables in the restaurant when we went at lunchtime there was one available and most people take the food away with them. Really generous portion size and everything is made fresh order, so although it does take a little bit longer to serve the food, you know everything is cooked fresh”

“Very tasty food, well condimented, fast table service. Monday lunch time almost no customers, the shopping centre was so quiet, we enjoyed that. First time in Arndale shopping centre and Doner Shack, we enjoyed the food. The doner/bread nice and crunchy on the outside, fair portion, but when we got the fries kebab that was like a 2 people portion, huge and very tasty.”

“Very good burgers indeed. Just tried their "Any burger, chips and drink", lunch time offer, which is advertised in the front window for only £5.99. At that price, they are even beating Maccies for value. Really impressed with the Champions burger and the triple cheeseburger. The chips were hot and fresh, but were only good, not great. I would. If management read this review, may I suggest adding some red salt/paprika to the chips. Anyway, Champions is definitely worth a try. I will definitely be going back sometime soon.”

“Once again they have delivered, I come here regularly, called again today with my two daughters who live in Canada. The place is always well lit and spotless, such an important trait, we chose our food and sat waiting to be called to collect our food. The girls were as impressed as myself, the food is so fresh and with the selection of salad and sauces available it only adds to the experience. I managed to clear my plate,( no surprise there) my daughters had to admit defeat and take some home to enjoy later.”

“Stumbled across this place by mistake. Well, it was a great mistake because the food was amazing. Very quick, tasty and fresh.
