“My three girls went to stay with Colleen in July this year, and they were so well cared for, with home comforts provided, beautiful surroundings to run around in, abd so much love, attention and care. I have spent years putting my girls in kennels whenever I have been on holiday but, after my experience of Pet Getaway, I would not have them anywhere else now. Highly recommend.”

“Gary is a fantastic dogwalker! He has really taken the time to get to know our Whippet (Otis) and has built a great relationship with him. Our dog loves going on the long walks Gary provides (rain or shine). Gary is very reliable, trustworthy and communicative and clearly loves his job based on the time and effort he puts in. Would not hesitate to recommend Gary for anyone considering someone to walk or look after their pup.”

“Amanda looked after my mother-in-law’s cat while she was away visiting her daughter. It was a very last minute request but Amanda came to do a home visit the very next day and immediately reassured us. Sasha was taken good care of and it was good to know she was in safe hands. “Charlotte looked after our two rabbits whilst we were away over Christmas and New Year. She was amazing with them both, and kept us updated with pictures and info each day. She saw to them twice a day, kept their areas tidy and cared for them like they were her own. She even went shopping to get extra veggies for them when needed. Would definitely use Charlotte again when we are away, and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Such a lovely place to see Alpacas up close. Claire was really knowledgeable and the alpacas were really friendly. Lovely setting too. Easy to find with what 3 words. Great to be able to feed the animals and stroke them. Claire clearly cared a lot about the animals and making sure they were well fed, clean and looked after. Good value for money in a group.”

Sharon kept us updated with photos and videos of our baby girl, which put my mind at rest whilst we were away. My dog is nervous around others but completely took to Sharon and her family and enjoyed all of the fuss and attention that they gave her in our absence. “I discovered Barkley and Fetch in a pet shop in Bakewell, I love the patterns and designs of their products. Since then I have been buying collars on line not only for me but our son’s dogs too. We love them. They wash and wear really well and the quality is excellent. We love the colourful designs and the more neutral ones too. I can recommend Barkley and Fetch and currently have my eye on a doggie bag for walks.”
