βBeautiful park. Great for walking dogs. Clean and tidy. Ice cream and coffee vans frequent.β
βLove this park. Great for dogwalking and picnics with grandchildren. Best of all is the ice cream van that visits. The most delicious and creamy soft serve ever. Not overpriced and a lovely woman working in the van. Worth going to the park just to have it.β
βSuch a beautiful and well kept park that we went before and after the pub lunch! Well worth the drive from Manchester City centre. The dog loves it and so does the grown up child who loved a quick go on the swings!β
βWythenshawe Park and Gardens is one of the best green spaces in South Manchester, offering a mix of open fields, formal gardens, woodland walks, and family-friendly facilities. The park is well kept, with plenty of benches, flat paths for walking or cycling, and a relaxed atmosphere. The community farm and horticultural centre add extra interest, especially for younger visitors. Thereβs also a good cafΓ© near the courtyard area, ideal for a quick lunch or coffee. It can get busy during events and weekends, but there's usually space to find a quiet corner. A reliable choice for a free day out with plenty to explore.β
βLovely park well maintained by a great group of community volunteers. Lots to do and see gear for dog walks too.β
βAbsolutely beautiful park. Very special place for me since the 1960s. Visited for the first time since the late 70s/early 80s since moving out of the area. Heartbreaking what's happened to the buildings and beautiful conservatory etc but so wonderful to see what the various volunteer groups are achieving there, above all giving the Park love and TLC. Thank you.β
βA lovely park with lots of options for children to have fun. We had 6 children ranging from 9 months to 8 years and all found something to do. Parking is reasonable, as is the kiosk. They enjoyed feeding the ducks, the bike track, play ground and the sand pit. More benches on the sunshine would be useful.β
βThe building, i believe, is not open to the general pubic but luckily for me, i work for the company that maintains it, so I got to see inside and how grand it is pictures speak for themselves it's grade 2 listed and has links with Agatha christie and also prince albert is rumourd to have stayed the night here on a visit to Manchester to open a galleryβ
βThis is a GEM! One of my happy places. The grounds are very well maintained and it's a delight to walk around.β
βOne of Tamesides hidden gems. The main entrance has 2 big open spaces for ball games etc. A young children's play area with a gated sand pit and further up the hill an older children's play area with climbing frames. But the best bit is the public orchard at the top of the hill and the wildlife sanctuary plus a plethora of wild walking paths. Popular with dog walkers (please pick up your dogs waste) and families alike. A good stroll around Cheathams will get the heart pumping and is a joy for the eye. 10/10.β
βA lovely traditional park with lots to see and do. The park has good play areas for the little ones which includes a water fountain play area in the summer months. A lovely coffee shop in the centre of the park with an ice cream van present near the play areas for most of the warmer months. There are also bowling greens, a duck pond and aviary with various types of birds to look at. Worth a visit if you're in the area and an excellent way to kill a few hours for free.β

βQueenβs Park in Bolton is a gem for families and individuals alike, offering a delightful blend of tranquillity and fun. This well-maintained park is a haven for children, boasting an impressive playground with around 15 engaging play structures that spark joy and creativity. From slides to climbing frames, thereβs something to keep kids entertained for hours. The parkβs serene atmosphere makes it equally appealing for adults seeking a peaceful stroll or a refreshing run through its scenic paths. A charming cafΓ© sits conveniently next to the playground, perfect for grabbing a cuppa or a snack, though it requires a short walk to reach, adding to the parkβs relaxed vibe. The lush greenery and open spaces create an inviting setting for picnics, leisurely walks, or simply unwinding. β17th March 2025. Had a desperate need to use the facilities at Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre at Wythenshawe. Had a very warm welcome, from Michaela, Danielle and Sally. They explained to me about the centre and the services they offer and I was quite impressed. I could see they were working there hoping to make a difference, and I could see it was working. Worth a visit to see what is on offer, you will be very welcome. Keep up the good work girls xβ
βThe home of FC United of Manchester, you feel like family from the minute you get there. Totally fan owned . Function rooms available. Great food great beer and even better fans! Making friends not millionaires.β
βNice family park - I liked it because of the central lake and it's tucked within a residential estate. Cute.β

βI held my wedding reception there on Sunday 12th May. Adam & Vikki could not do enough for us. They went above and beyond our expectation. Nothing seemed too much trouble and the room was set up ready for us. We would definitely recommend this venue.β

βFriendly staff. Easy to make appointments through email, messaging or phone call. I always feel welcome and feel like the advice I am given is well considered. I am generally seen on time and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes once I arrive. I'm not a fan of people opening my mouth and shoving in small vacuums and metal contraptions in there, however, I'd rather have it done here than anywhere else I've ever been to.β
βThese offices are a great work space, very modern, professional and beautifully maintained - we love working here. The Pure team are extremely easy to deal with, supportive and efficient - meaning we can focus on our business rather than managing office space - as a small business this is really important. Car parking and location are also excellent. We moved here from a previous managed serviced office business and it's one of the best decisions we've made. We'd highly recommend Pure.β
βGreat old school gym. Friendly atmosphere.β
βWas given a voucher for here as a gift. I had a full body, deep tissue massage with Carmen. Carmen used various techniques to relieve my tension and aches. I like a firm massage and Carmen certainly did that. She did check the pressure was O.K. I have a bad lower back and Carmen did lots to help relieve this. My shoulders were also very tense and Carmen worked her magic. It definitely was a deep tissue massage. I felt great. Afterwards Carmen talked to me about my body and the parts she worked on. Carmen was very professional, put me at ease and explained some of the techniques she had used. Highly recommend and I will be back. Thank you.β
