So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. I feel so much more confident in myself and I am extremely grateful to David. He is an exceptional stylist and I will absolutely be returning and recommending the salon to others, including my mum who has just moved here and is looking for a new trusted hairdresser! “Gluten free menu attached as I couldn't find it online. Some good options, food came quickly and was hot. I wished there were chips on the gluten free menu but jacket potatoes were a nice change. Service was slightly slow but was rectified quickly. They have gluten free beer which is nice. It was very busy which was nice to see considering it's tucked away.”

“Just had a lovely family lunch here, I can highly recommend the fish and chips, although all the meals looked delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pub is cosy with a great beer garden that has a selection of climbing frames for the kids. Would definitely recommend a visit.”
