“What a wonderful place to be poorly in - having had a terrible experience earlier in the year at 'another hospital' in the next Borough I can't praise the Team in A+ E enough. Particularly Katie Frost in Reception, Marius, Oliver and Babatunde for their kindness and respect shown to my Brother - who had a nasty fall due to his Parkinson's - through to Dr Alasdair Marshall who again was so professional and personable. We arrived by Ambulance at 2pm and it felt like checking into a Hotel - even waiting until 10pm for the Doctor to be able to see Chris we never felt neglected or dismissed. Thank you showing that kindness, patience and understanding goes a very long way to make a horrible experience that bit easier Amanda - Sister of Patient Wednesday August 13th”

“I attended A&E twice this week in a lot of pain. On the second visit early in the morning when the issue was properly identified the support was fantastic Every single individual was so friendly and comforting. It is not easy being in pain and not properly understanding why so that, for me, was very stressful. But thank you all at Macc A&E.”

“I just want to say thank you to the vets for taking care of my buddy Ozzy on his last night on this cosmic rock. I live up in Newcastle so sadly I was not down here when my parents took him in. However I came to collect his ashes today and it made me happy to see how much the staff cared about everyone’s pals who get brought in and the love they have for pets even if it was a short interaction, I am glad he was in loving hands at the end. Thank you for the card and paw prints too it means a lot to me and my family who are spread around the world who couldn’t be here at this time. I know he visited a few times over the years, he was always taken great care of. Finally thank you for the beautiful packaging of the ashes, I will be taking them up north to the cliffs he was last with all of my family.
