“I absolutely love this place. First visited 20 +years ago when they first opened and I lived in Manchester. I now live up North near Penrith so it’s a treat when I get to visit and I feel like a kid in a sweet shop… The selection is incredible, the price are good, presentation is beautiful. Quality is top notch… staff are lovely I only wish we had a place like this up north and I could visit everyday!!!”

“We have been coming to Oasis for about 11 years now and have always been impressed by the quality of stock and the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. “Spent an afternoon with a good friend here. The weather was gorgeous which just added to a marvellous day all round. We started with a breakfast in the stable cafe, and a cake to take away. The house itself is breathtaking. The solar is probably up there with the best rooms I've ever visited in a historic house setting. The guide outside the room was delightfully chatty, friendly and informative. Made us feel so welcome. It was great to see some of the conservation set up that they have on the go. We finished with a brisk walk around the grounds to finish the day.”

“I called at the florist on the off chance (Sunday morning) to have a floral arrangement made. I chose the colours, paid and returned later on to pick up the most beautiful and colourful floral arrangement. I was near to tears at the choice of flowers and colours the young lady had put together. My daughter in law was over the moon with the flowers and agreed with me that they were truly beautiful. We popped in hoping that a bouquet could be made for the next day and the lovely lady jotted down what we would like and told us to come back at 3. “Fantastic range of starters and main courses for all tastes, from mild curries to extra spicy ones. You won’t miss the fact they don’t have meat in. The in restaurant service is excellent. Not the cheapest, but you are paying for quality of ingredients and presentation. Highly recommended for vegetarians, vegans and those wanting to try something different.”

“I highly recommend this place for those who eat vegetarian or vegan. The food is delicious, especially the masala dosa, chana masala and poppadoms, and chutney tray. Also, the dessert carrot halwa with ice cream. The staff were friendly, and the dining area as well as the deli area was very impressive. I would come to visit again soon.”

“This cafe should shout about itself more. Second visit and just as good as the first time. Everything we had was fresh and tasted home cooked. Generous portions and great value. We were spoilt for choice on the menu so tried the five salad option and a slice of the greek spanakopita. Both excellent and couldn’t fault seasoning and flavours. Dessert was great too.”

“I've been in the process of getting my first reptile for a while now - slowly saving and getting everything I need for a good, solid bioactive setup before I get myself a crestie. This place has been a lifeline, and everyone who works here is a legend! I went up to the counter and said "I think I'm in dire need of help" and lo and behold, they got me everything I needed and then some. All the staff are really nice, they know their stuff, and they have anything you could possibly need. The animals all seem super happy and well looked after. I'll be shopping here for a long time to come!”

“Daisy Nook is a lovely countryside escape tucked away in Oldham, just outside the city buzz of Manchester. It offers a peaceful mix of woodlands, canals, walking trails, and open green spaces — perfect for a quiet stroll, family outing, or even a bit of photography. The paths are well-maintained, and there’s a calm, relaxed atmosphere all around. There’s also a small café near the entrance for a coffee or snack after a walk. A great spot to reconnect with nature without going too far from town.”
