“Absolutely superb. What a great start to the day, from the welcome to the service & after service. I was served by a gentleman called Dillion, he really understands his customers and was exemplary in which he held himself whilst attending to his customers, from observation he anticipated customers needs and was well presented, well spoken & polite. Food was fresh and piping hot. Served with care. He and his colleagues made our visit such a lovely experience. Thank you and see you all soon.”

“Went here with my daughter who had booked us an afternoon tea. Great value and really enjoyed it. A cocktail was included in the price also and our visit coincided with perfect timing for 2 for 1 cocktails. Good location as right near to Deansgate train station. Waitress/bar staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.”

“2nd time we have been here visiting Manchester, we weren't disappointed. The food is amazing,good portions and reasonably priced. Especially for a station restaurant. A visit is a must. The cocktails were fantastic too. Overall, brilliant food, brilliant friendly and helpful staff and very clean. Great place. The pictures are just the starters with cocktails.”

“Extraordinary Bar to bring in for a 16 ounces and a Game of pool or Table Football. Fantastic bar staff who rushed to serve. Likewise a decent spot to watch sport with the big screen. Splendid worth during that time 12.00pm-7.00pm £2.50 a 16 ounces on chose lagers I had carling which was right on the money. In general I would suggest a visit.”

“We absolutely love it here! are regulars at Mottram wood because as a family of 6 we find that it has everything we need for all of us. Great food, friendly staff, a good play area for the kids and an outside area. And then the food is decent pub grub at a very reasonable price. We find it to be the best play area / restaurant around Manchester. We came here for Christmas dinner which was great and so reasonably priced and today my son just had his 6th birthday party at the wacky warehouse. Alex and Jess in the play area are outstanding and can’t do enough for you and the kids adore them too.”

“Had an early evening meal in the grille/ bar area, recently. The food was very good and the two servers who looked after our table were excellent - Daniel and Marcus. Both were extremely polite & friendly and gave us very good service. They deserve a special mention because they were so professional. Thanks for a very nice experience, the staff do add to the mood and these two enhanced the positivity.”

“Crazy cheap drink prices. Absolutely no atmosphere and the staff all seem preoccupied and disinterested but the music’s loud, there’s a great smoking area and the drinks are ridiculously cheap. Gets uncomfortably hot when busy though, which isn’t that often anymore.”

“Superb pizza by the slice. Had the hot mix 5 and the porkys and both were absolutely delish. Great vegan options too, gf was blown away by how good the vegan mozzarella was. Highly recommend”

“My child loved Ferry Link from the first day! Children have great fun every day and don't want to come home! Staff are really nice and take good care of children. It has a lovely familiar atmosphere!”

“Scott has been walking my dog, Rupert, for nearly 1.5 years. He started doing puppy visits initially until he was vaccinated which he then joined the group walks. Throughout it all Scott has been amazing with him and Rupert gets so excited every time he gets picked up! The best touch on it is the updates via Instagram stories where I can see my little boy running around being happy. I highly recommend the value of the service for the price compared to doggy day care.”

“First time I've been here, and it was incredible. We weren't planning on going here but our original restaurant was closed. The service was great, really friendly team members. The choice of cocktails and ales was fantastic, with alcohol free options. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I had the mushroom and truffle with a blossom spritz. My son wasn't a fan of his margarita, but that's probably because it's not filled with crap! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be returning.”

“Fantastic Bar with amazing people running it, and such a friendly crowd inside all round great atmosphere. Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. My pug loves going, I have a pint she has some biscuits!”

“Popped in because it just looked interesting. Saw "Tameside" gin and was intrigued. I asked the barman to surprise me. He made me a Blood Orange Gin and Lemonade and it was absolutely fantastic. He told me a bit about the origin of it and knew his products. I can heartily recommend you at least pip in for 1 and sit in what is a truly lovely place while you enjoy a delicious glass of gin. Fantastic.”

“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“I had many of my friends recommending this place, and when we finally tried it for my birthday - it exceeded all expectations! The service was amazing, very helpful and welcoming. The food was unreal, very unique menu with lots of things to try. We tried a fair few dishes as recommended and I’m still thinking about their pastas dishes. I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff for making my birthday so special.”
