“Wish I could recommend Sophie at Pure Essence more than just 5 stars, times that by a million! Sophie was my hairdresser for many years until I moved to London for work. After 10 years I finally returned, not only did my visit feel like a reconnection of old friends but I walked out with a cut and colour that made me feel the best I have felt in years! Sophie remembered my personal taste and even my curl pattern. Pulling dark brown hair to blonde in 1 sitting! Miracle worker. “Having very little faith in hair salons after numerous bad experiences, I tried here as a last resort, following good reviews I'd seen and I'm glad I did as I've never been disappointed. Rowan listened to my concerns and wishes and pulled out the bag what I thought was impossible. Lovely friendly team and finally found a place who does what I ask, doesn't cut all my hair off and I don't end up losing it all due to damage. “From start to finish our experience with Joanne and all the teams she works with at Appleton Kitchens has been first class. Her design skills, her organisational skills, patience but mostly her communication skills have been exceptional. Inevitably things do not always go to plan but Joanne kept us in the loop throughout and attended on site as required to liaise with the teams on our behalf and whilst waiting would start to clean. We would not hesitate to recommend Joanne and Appleton Kitchens to anyone who is looking for a completely new kitchen, a slight redesign or a tweak here and there. She is brilliant.”

“Jen was so helpful both via messages and at my appointment, with lots of advice and knowledge. I had a chemical peel to try and help my acne which was fully explained to me beforehand and all my worries put at ease. I really enjoyed the whole treatment and have already noticed results. I’m booked in for my next appointment and excited to see how Jen can help my skin in the lead up to my wedding. It also works well having evening appointments so I can work it around my shifts ☺️”

“Since my review below, management have reached out to me and have confirmed their cutlery and crockery is recyclable hence I will add another star to my review. Many thanks for response. Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”
