“Great quality food for a more upscale version of a British lunch. The scallops were outstanding so was the T bone steak in particular as cooked to perfection, but was all great. Lovely restaurant in Hale village and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“I've not had a chippy tea for a long time, and I've not been to this chippy for ever longer. Just getting over the flu I couldn't be bothered cooking so thought I'd go for Fish & Chips. It was a great decision, Im not sure if this place has a new ownership in the last few years but the Fish & chips with mild curry sauce was 10/10. Very impressed, give it a go!”

“Came in after being really let down by the market food hall across the road (I’m far too Northern to pay £16 for a pie.) As a lunch, from start to finish the most perfect lunch I’ve ever had. Seriously. I would travel out Of my way to come here again”

“We stumbled upon this charming Belgian-style bar while out for a few drinks in Altrincham with my wife—and what a fantastic find! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a traditional Belgian vibe that adds real character. The drinks were excellent, and although we didn’t try the food (we’d already eaten), it looked delicious and well-presented. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!”

“Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”

“Cocktails were 10/10!! It’s hard to make a delicious Pornstar Martini but they so good we went back for seconds!! Lovely atmosphere and our server V was very friendly and made the best cocktails! Cant wait to go back! So good to have a local fab cocktail bar!!”

“This is a lovely restaurant. Went on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was busy but not overly busy. Servers are attentive and food and drink was served quickly. The prices are very good for what you get. Added bonus is that you can take your own wine/drink in (I don’t drink however they do serve soft drinks) Food is well cooked and there’s lots of it to choose from. Went for a few small plates and a large main (Lamb Shawarma). Well worth a visit.”

“Accommodated our table of 11 and changes along the way for Mother's Day. Everyone loved their food and commented on how tasty it was. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are attentive, personable and work hard. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.”

“Traditional tapas restaurant with a rustic feel. The portions were surprisingly good. Dishes were tasty, I would recommend the calamari. We were quite full by the end, which doesn't often happen with tapas. Would happily come back again.”

“I had a couple of guinness. No food. Didnt see they had Murphys until late so i will be back for a pint of that They have tayto Great atmosphere here, people enjoying the craic or watching the GAA. I visited this pub when it was the Tavern. I wrote a bad review amd critised whoever was running it, as it seems like a nice wee spot. The new people who have taken it over have put some love into this. Well done. I went in with low expectations and was proved utterly wrong. I cant understand how they can offer a free buffett. I would urge you to give this place a go.”

“I had my wedding here last weekend and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!! The day was everything we hoped for and so so much more, and so much of that is down to the freedom the venue gave us to do things exactly how we wanted and the BRILLIANT staff!!!! I cannot recommend this venue enough - We had our wedding breakfast, speeches and evening reception there, and it was all just amazing. “Just back from a lovely themed night at Aspire Restaurant at Traffordd College - fabulous value and great food. Really good prices for quality drinks too. We had a 3 course meal with additional appetisers on arrival and coffee with a sweet treat at the end and 2 alcoholic drinks each including their fabulous award winning Rhubard Gin Cocktail (delicious) All in it came to £50.20 for the 2 of us plus of course we left service on top of that. So pleased to have revisited and looking forward to more meals there going forwards. Well done Aspire!”

“Nearly didn't book here due to some bad reviews. Glad I did because the place is fine. It does look a bit tatty on the outside but it is OK inside. Although it is on a main road into Manchester we were surprised at how little traffic there was overnight. Our room was overlooking the road and we had no problem with traffic noise. It had acoustic double glazing that was very effective. There is no air con but a fan is provided which helps. We were there on one of the hottest days/nights and found it tolerable. The meal deal was good. You eat in the pub which is attached to the hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't have any real ale but the Draught Guinness was good. There was a selection of lager and cider. So don't be put off, if it is convenient for you go for it.”

The fresh salads from the salad bar were crisp and full of flavor, the fries were perfectly cooked and delicious, and the steaks were tender and juicy. “Crispy chicken breast with soup udon. Iced bubble milk tea. Help yourself with different seasoning. Salt and pepper, seaweed and cheese powder and quite a few others. Would be even better if the breadcrumbs or flour not too thick. Worth trying. Milk tea and a few other drinks come at half price with food order at lunchtime. Very close to metro station or you can park and shop at Tesco Extra with three-hour free parking. Less than five minutes walk from Tesco.”

“Such a nice little pub to unwind, especially if you don’t want anything crazy for the night but just enjoying a drink with friends and have a great meal. Food is really nice and it came in fast. The staff is friendly and thoughtful. They have darts and table tennis so you can enjoy a game while at it too! Recommend.”
