“It was nice to see familiar faces after a year away. The food and service were excellent; the paneer cocktail was something I had never had before, the naans were incredibly fluffy, and the cobra was delicious. The total cost came to about £28 per person. I'm happy to confirm that Marple Spice remains fantastic. The staff was so kind and we will definitely be returning.”

“11 of us visited on the 20/06/25 for a birthday meal. I hadn't eaten from the Spice Tower for over 6 years when it was under previous management following a poor takeaway. WOW it has changed. I had a takeaway a few weeks ago to test it out before booking for my stepsons birthday meal out and loved it. The family attended for said birthday last night and everybody agreed that the food was delicious and the service great. I personally had the tamarind prawns to start and the chum chum mix for main and couldn't fault it. Great value for money to. I think I've found a new favourite.”

“Truly delicious! Hot and flavoursome food in decent-sized portions that are delivered promptly. I especially like the variety and volume of vegetables that come in the veggie dishes. And lots of big slices of chilli so you can have it hot or pick them out as you please. Always delighted with a Marple Thai takeaway!”

Had Spaghetti Bolognese, chicken burger for my partner and the 4 season garlic bread which actually tastes like garlic. Not like the cardboard shite round here. Thank you guys. “Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”

My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. “We used this venue as a campervan stopover. Which was mostly OK. When we arrived to pitch up the parking area was pretty well at capacity due to a Bowls match, tis cleared after about 2 hours or so and we were able to pitch up. As this was free we decided to meet with my sister and partner and my son. The 5 of us had a pleasant meal in the pub which we enjoyed. I would suggest that the proprietors consider putting an outside drinking water tap and marked bins for waste recycling. I have no doubt that we shall be visiting again.”

“Flic decided to have a day out in Marple. We started at this lovely Robinson's pub next to Rose Hill station. I am pretty sure I have been here a few times many years ago. Large open plan and plush interior with TV's and an outside terrace, also with a TV. Stairs down to a small beer garden beside a large car park. Three of four handpumps in use on my visit. Went for a seasonal Pale Ale, AMO 4.4%. Really refreshing.”

“Just a quick note for anyone planning to visit: It isn’t open every Sunday, only on "the last Sunday of each month". Unfortunately, we missed it this time, but the view from outside the gate is still wonderful. I’ll definitely visit again!”
