“Family meal for a group of 8. Staff were very welcoming and the place looks great. I was initially a bit concerned as not many people were present….but this soon changed Staff were great, welcoming and very attentive….informed food was halal Food was served pretty quickly…..garlic butter prawns are a must for starters….the butter was amazing….lamb shank was great and the mixed grill was good too…..great classy venue …you won’t be disappointed”

“My Grandma had a funny turn in this place a few weeks ago and the staff was amazing to her, they called her a ambulance and comforted her the entire time until it arrived. This was at busy lunch time! Thank you so much! She will be back at some point for another fish and chips.”

“First time trying this place as i live 5mins away, im Jamaican background but always wanted to try African food! Boyyyy this did not disappoint the flavours were amazing especially the Jollof rice the pounded yam and egusi was lovely. some parts of the beef was tough to eat but over all i would rate this a solid 9/10. “Amazing authentic food and brilliant friendly service. We ordered from the evening set menu. Fresh Lobsters dish made to order and cooked to perfection. We visited during December and even had evening entertainment. Perfect evening all ages. Plenty of parking (4 hours on first floor, ground floor is 90mins as ground floor is mainly used by supermarket customers). One of the best Chinese restaurants in Manchester. Highly recommended.”

The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere — perfect for both family meals and special occasions. If you’re looking to enjoy authentic Afghan food in a friendly setting, I can’t recommend Afghan Cuisine Restaurant enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“I went with some friends to celebrate my brother's birthday. I have a lot of allergies, so I'm hard to find food for, but Peter gave me (and my brother) excellent service - he made me feel like, even though it was pretty hectic there, I was the only person he was serving in the room. Perfect! Also, Maggie (Mags?) did provide good service in giving us the food, checking we were all happy. Additionally, the food was pretty good. Finally, the restaurant was very busy , which is a sure sign of popularity!”

“Was recommended this place by a work colleague and a group of 9 of us went. Parking can is available outside with plenty on side streets. Nice friendly vibes and smells emanating inside were delightful. We decided to book a room (can seat around 12 people I reckon and maybe more) and only negative criticism was that we did have to ask on several occasions for place to be cleaned up. This place can get busy. Complimentary soap was the perfect start and a nice touch. Ordered the lamb Zumbina and it was delightful. The meat was succulent and the flavours really lovely. The food arrived very quick and even partook in the chicken brost which I highly recommend. Only item I didn’t enjoy was the fasha and it’s a very distinguished taste. Not for me anyway. Card payments accepted and friendly service. Toilet (only 1) which has a bidet and was clean. Could do with another ideally and washroom facilities also available. A place I enjoyed visiting and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending and returning.”

“The food here is very nice and tasty. The portion is everything, I really enjoyed myself. This is the best authentic Nigerian food I've tasted since my 3 years in this country. Normally, I prefer to cook my own food because the few I've tried don't really worth it, so I give up. Yesterday I had a lazy day and just couldn't cook so I decided to check out this restaurant and see. I wasn't disappointed at all, I enjoyed the food. Had to ask to see who made the food because the taste was everything, the amala was soft, the protein was well seasoned and tender. The gbegiri, ewedu and omi obe was superb. I'm so happy, would visit more so i highly recommend.”

The atmosphere is excellent and when you arrive and enter the premises, you are quickly (and warmly) greeted with a friendly smile and a helpful Employee. As a Disabled Person, I found the layout, set-up and arrangement of the furniture easily navigable with ample room to move around. I have not encountered a more helpful Staff when visiting a Restaurant and my opinion of them is that they are of the highest calibre and quality. I wish to express my personal, sincere and heartfelt thanks to Waiter 'V' and the Manager. They (both) are extremely personable, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming. They gave me their time and were genuinely interested and could not have done more to help me. I cannot praise them enough. Their conduct, behaviour, attitude and persona(s) shall keep me coming back to [and frequenting] this Establishment often. The food is of the highest quality, but you'll just have to take my word on that and go and sample [it] for yourself! You won't regret it... I don't want to spoil the surprise! The table(s) are far enough apart so as to maintain a conversation without feeling overlooked or eavesdropped on. The Establishment is clean and the decor is tasteful. I enjoy visiting this Establishment and would rate it: exceptional. What makes this place stand out from the rest / it's competition is the: service. The superb Staff make this a super Establishment. Look no further if you are looking for a new 'local'. In this writer's humble view, you won't find one better!”

“Got there at lunchtime and it was lovely and quiet. I went for the standard carvery and the other half had the chicken burger. The carvery was lovely and fresh with good sizes of meat. The chicken burger was good, apparently, but the coleslaw let it down. All in all a good quick stop off for a lunch that was hot and a good size. The cake slices were huge!”

“Really impressed with this place. The staff were genuinely hospitable and professional – made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. The food was spot on. Starters were great, especially the lamb chops, but my personal favourites were the fish pakora and naga wings – packed with flavour. Curries were classic British Indian restaurant style, just how I like it when eating out. What really stood out for me was the calm, cosy vibe. Even though it was nearly a full house, it didn’t feel chaotic or noisy like some buffet places. Staff managed the floor well and created a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”
