Lovely relaxed ambience with friendly attentive staff.bookings come with a 2 HR slot which is more than enough for a lovely relaxing experience which doesn't feel rushed allowing time to chat and relax between courses. My husband had the soup of the day and I had pate( I asked for extra bruschetta) and it came with more than enough!! For main we both had the chicken roulade which was exquisite , followed by strawberry cheesecake for hubby and sticky toffee pudding for myself, this was on another level,with homemade custard and a thin crispy topping. Amazing experience, definitely be returning soon.”

“Really nice spot with a good vibe. I had a OG cheese pizza slice and a beer, both were tasty, simple but satisfying. It was raining when I visited, so I sat inside, but I can imagine it’s even better when the weather’s nice and you can sit outside. Service was quick and the atmosphere was relaxed. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our night special. They even surprised us with a gorgeous “Happy Anniversary” dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. “We love it! The food is super tasty and good quality. The restaurant is very unique since they serve a mix of British pub food and pan-asian food. We've been several times and always enjoyed their sushi, starters, and burgers. The katsu chicken burger is really delicious and comes with some chicken wings and fries. Big portion and amazing taste. The service was really good. They also do very nice cocktails.”

“Been coming here for around 18 years and never once had a bad meal. The food is always beautiful and we get a service with a smile. Amazing staff from the chefs to the waiting on staff. My 6 year old son loves coming here, as everytime he comes the lovely Sula always treats him like royalty and let's him help make his milkshake. It makes him feel so special. (He is neurodivergent too and he feels like he can help and then enjoy what he has helped to make) Sula is an amazing person to have serve us. When we come in, She always smiles, chats too us and makes us feel great during our visit. Would recommend San Remo to anyone. We. have never had a bad experience and always leave feeling full and smiling.”

“A spur of the moment decision on a Sunday late Sunday afternoon. A Walk in without a reservation late on Sunday afternoon, the pub was relatively busy and there was a small queue of people waiting to be seated. Whilst guest were being seated, the lady behind the bar could see that we were waiting. She stopped what she was doing, she greeted us with a cherry hello, and confirmed if we had a reservation which we haven’t. She said it was no bother had a table available And it will only take two ticks to wipe down and set up. We both went for the Sunday lunch one roast beef one roast lamb the meals came to the table within 20 minutes and I have to say one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years we finished off With one cheesecake and two spoons. The staff here at the Horton were most definitely on their a game when we visited on Sunday. Polite professional and welcoming. We will most definitely be returning to the Horton Arms.”

The chicken shawarma had that smoky, tender texture I look for, and the chicken tikka with rice was excellent: moist pieces of chicken, fragrant spices, and the rice was fluffy and fragrant. The dishes were very tasty and mild spicy, and the portions were generous – you’ll need three or four plates per person to fill up. The prices were reasonable, and we paid £60 for two people. “Last week we were [invited] to Sotto for "Tales of the Med" with Stir by night which involved bottomless tapas, paella, pizza and pasta Sotto is a fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines which has resulted in a combination of homely, fresh food made with passion. Our night began with a coktail, the first of many....so the concept for this night was to bring s bottle of spirits which the @stirbynight guys would craft into genius cocktails as we feasted. I was very impressed with every drink they made with my favourite being gin based and served in a glass of powered beetroots, this resulted in a vibrant shokicng pink cocktail The food was crazy. Not just in flavour but in quantity! I have never been so full that I have had to force myself to eat mushroom and truffle ravioli before, it's a favourite of mine and I was tortured by its beautiful smell as I collapsed in a glutenous heap We were served pizza, Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas and olives before a very unique dish was served (The 4th picture) At first glance I thought this was a paella, but it was actually made of pasta cut finely and cooked with clams and parsley. It was very unusual and like nothing I've had before, personally I did not enjoy this as much as the actual paella that was served later on The chicken paella was absolutely beautiful, it was cooked in a traditional method from the region of Spain the owner Athena is from. I filled up on this a bit too much but paella is up there in the lisy of my favourite foods My favourite dish was the deep fried ravioli! Stuffed with spinach and ricotta, deep fried and topped with a tomato based sauce with Chorizo. This was incredible!! Definitely an amazing invention and a trend needing to kick off Overall we had an amazing experience, theres too much food to talk about. Big thank you to Sotto and Stir by Night for having us. “A lovely meal here. This is authentic Chinese food from a variety of regions including Beijing, Sichuan, Hunan and Guangdong (Canton), rather than higher-cost versions of takeaway food. Mao's braised pork was tender and balanced. The pork pancake was filled with plenty of juicy pork. The fried rice was fragrant and beautifully fried. Excellent sland friendly service. Also, the restaurant was decorated so beautifully.”

“Like every saturday night just ordered from the Golden Inn tyldesley and as always the guy on the phone says "for rob yes? 10mins" Rob comes back all emotional with two bags, one with our food and one with a can of carling and a snickers bar. The family are going to china for christmas and the elderly lady wished him a merry christmas and a happy new year from the family, gave him the two bags and came round the front and hugged him.
