“Thee staff were warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were more than generous. We had both starters and mains, and honestly, we were too full to even consider dessert. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and experience made it well worth it. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Been in a few times since it has re-opened and it is belting, not many places like this left, plenty of rooms, plenty of screens, beer garden is a real suntrap and the atmosphere is great, staff are friendly and it's good to have the Railway back open, ate here for the first time today and can't recommend the Pizza's enough, proper wood fired oven makes all the difference. Get yourselves in!”

“Really lovely pub with a restaurant feel in the main dining area, and a super dog-friendly dining experience in the Garden Room. Our server, Charlotte, was very friendly and attentive. Really appreciated the card on our table, wishing our Mum a happy birthday, along with a complimentary drink. Only downside was the dreadful smell from drains in the ladies. Will definitely return.”

“I initially called Becky who was both friendly and helpful and could answer all my questions relating to the cruise. I then went away to think about the cruise and called back with further questions before booking. Becky did a brilliant job got me booked in assisted with selecting a cabin etc. I am a busy person and like efficiency and Becky was efficient and effective in the booking. The food is superb with first class flavours and presentation accompanied by excellent wine. All of this at incredibly affordable prices makes it an experience not to be missed! “THE WAY HAJJ AND UMRAH SHOULD BE DONE! I went to Umrah in the last 10 days of Ramadhan through Hissar Travel. I dealt with brother Salih who helped me and guided me along each step. I had a hassle & stress free experience from start to finish. I had my transfers from airport to hotel and Madinah to Makkah arranged with out any struggle. “Was here for a Christmas party. The food for our event was buffet style finger foods but with class not cheap stuff & tasted really nice!. Staff around were nice & polite. The venue was suitable for us with plenty of spacious seating & the dance floor with DJ booth was a decent size to boogie the night away. As is with most places around this area of Altrincham it's a little pricey- Paid £5 for a bottle of alcohol but in the area it is there's plenty of people with deep pockets. Had a really enjoyable night after a crappy week.”

“After reading negative reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was really impressed by Townfields. It's not cheap but it's a proper restaurant and all such places cost these days. The point is, it's worth it. I considered removing a star for the staff being nothing like as knowledgeable as they should be for the standard of the establishment. But I decided that would be churlish. The service was good, it was friendly and it was quick. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, just right for a quiet night out. The food, though, is what stands out. The two of us ordered different things over three courses and all six dishes were top quality. A bit different, beautifully presented and memorably delicious. Definitely recommended.”
