“Joshua has been my window cleaner for over 4 years. He has done an excellent job every time and is extremely pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended. Richard”
“Came here for our anniversary meal and it honestly was the best meal we have had! The staff were incredible throughout the night, and whilst we didn’t get their names, the young, blonde lady and the middle aged, olive skinned gentleman who served us a glass of bubbly each were amazing. The food is to die for and trust me you will not be going hungry when you leave. Thank you for making our night an unforgettable experience!”
“A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”
“Visited with work colleagues for a few drinks and had a great time. The bar wasn't overly busy and we were able to talk to one another without shouting which was nice. The drinks were good and not very expensive. The toilets upstairs were clean and tidy even though it was towards the end of the night.”
“Absolutely loved this hotel. It is a short walking distance from the train station, easy to access. The building looks amazing and the rooms are just fab! It is a proper hotel room but very well equipped even had a small kitchen installed giving a feeling of an RBnb so you can cook your own meals if you want. Nice and clean bathroom with some nice brands of shampoo and body wash. Also had iron and hair dryer. Oh, and the view was stunning, staff was superfriendly. Wifi was quick, easy to connect and even the staircase looks beautiful. Highly recommended accomodation if you visit Manchester.”
“Cute, charming, and so friendly - I’ll definitely be back. (Psst - try the bacon sarnie on sourdough!)”
“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”
“Delightful little cafe. Food was excellent, we chose the Coronation Chicken on an open bloomer. The best coronation sandwich I ever had. Prices are also very reasonable. Owner and staff very friendly. Will go again.”
“Never fails to disappoint. All home cooked, fresh and good portion sizes. Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.”
“Got a Big P's breakfast and a hot chocolate and it didn't disappoint, a proper good breaky it filled me right up. Also got a hot chocolate which was nice. Recommend both of them”
“The first time we have had a Christmas tree from Green & Grounded… It has been superb, and held its needles. The friendly help in choosing the right one and the happy prompt delivery service. All in all a fantastic shopping experience.”
“Gorgeous restaurant, delicious food, and the most welcoming, lovely, and kindest staff! My family and I visited as part of my housewarming celebration as I've recently moved to the area. We had a fab time and will definitely be going back.”
“Started frequenting the Horsebox as was getting repeatedly let down by both coffee quality and service at other local spots. The coffee here is the best around Worsley and the cakes are delicious. Chocolate baklava, who knew? Amazing”
“Best place in monton. Lovely vibe, lovely people, gorgeous power bowls and soup. The best coffee in the area. We've had some brilliant nights here like the comedy nights, rum and reggae night and the quiz. Very cosy and welcoming.”
“Visit here regular, with my girlfriend. As she rides her horses past this hidden gem! The food is always piping hot and the cakes…. They’re exceptional Wow I’ll leave that there. The drinks are made to exactly how you ask! I always have coconut milk and there’s no questions asked! The owners Dane and Jenny are so friendly and down to earth. Can’t fault it”
“Me and my partner started coming here over 2 years ago, we had walked past seeing “cocktails, coffee and pizza” which my partner turned to say it’s a place made for me (I often have a cocktail, water and coffee when out). We have been on sunny days in their outside area and inside - both carry the amazing by atmosphere and impeccable music taste. The staff are friendly and maintain really good service, very relaxed and chilled vibes no matter what time of year. Families, friends and dogs are welcome too! The food - we have tried many of their options but have come to have a standard order of the pepperoni hot honey pizza and pumpkin base with ‘nduja and cheese pizza . These are amazing, the dough is unlike most other places, that the crust alone is something to look forward too. The pumpkin is a personal fave, again hard to find else where and even if you can it’s nowhere near as moreish! They also have amazing vegan and gluten free options - which I have tried the vegan, and again, amazing quality and taste. They do have dessert options- the baked cheesecake is also a must try, not normally a fan of them but I for sure have been won. Sad to see this little place go but well deserved and excited to see the new place just down the road! Hoping it goes well and will be back when it opens!”
“Decided to try this place tonight. Totally un planned. The pizzas are amazing!! Highly recommend!!”
“Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”
“Good choice of beers, the Stockporter was excellent. Great place for a sunshine pint. Brilliant staff, the place was buzzing with laughter. Highly recommended”
“Only just discovered the Damson tree today, 4 take out sandwiches lunchtime today absolutely lovely, Fair price too,”
“Top lunch (or brunch) place in Bollington! Be aware they close at 3pm, but we were able to have a late lunch just in time, and thank goodness we were in time! The food was wonderful!! The service was friendly and the vibe was busy but chill.”
“Called in for the first time this morning and was very impressed. Friendly greeting from all the team (most places you hardly get a grunt nowadays). The flat white was very smooth indeed. Highly recommend the place. Good luck and keep up the excellent customer service”
“Great local pub with good atmosphere. All staff are friendly and helpful.”
“First trip to Oldham town centre for almost 50 years! Oldham road once had pubs on almost every corner as you headed there from Manchester City Centre, many from the long gone Oldham brewery. Madge fancied a trip on the Metro and we spotted this pub in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Well worth the trip for just this corner pub. A bank of ten real ales. Great vibe plus a front pavement seating area. Madge found a new Oldham brewery..We are Wolf. Bar snacks incl sausage rolls. Great visit.”
“Fantastic little tea room. I'm not one for writing reviews, but felt this place really deserved one. Very busy when we arrived, we were lucky to get some comfy chairs in the window. Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very happy to pay £6.95. Charming staff, will definitely be back.”
“Visited for the first time Sunday evening with friends to take part in the pub quiz. Great atmosphere, great beers and the quiz was loads of fun.”
“Lovely community pub night - what lovely vibes. Would highly recommend!”
“Amazing service, incredible Beers, stouts and ciders. The price so reasonable. I think I have found my new local.”
