“Purchased an oak beam and made to measure shelves stained to match. Ordered shelves when we collect the oak beam and they were made within a week. All caje with fittings and advice given on how to install. Fantastic friendly service, beautiful work we are so pleased. Also we made incorrect payment and the proprietor contacted us and refunded overpayment instantly. Very honest, will definitely recommend. Will post pictures when installed.”

“We popped to Hoole a few weeks back and had seen this restaurant and said we'd come back and try it. So we did and oh my days it was so delicious. The portion sizes were huge. There is an option to choose half portions which I thought was a lovely idea and great for lunch times if you didn't want a big meal. We will definitely be coming back”

“My food was really good, I got a spicy beef pasta that had Villa Romana in the name. I had a dessert from the dessert trolley too. Tiramisu! It was good but also £7.85. The service was quick and atmosphere was pretty relaxed. Main, Dessert and Soft Drink was just under £30”

“i visited ego today with a group of 6 friends and we had a lovely time. From the moment we arrived,,the staff were welcoming, attentive and made us feel relaxed. everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble The food was absolutely delicious- everyone at the table loved their dishes and portions were generous. Drinks were great, the atmosphere was lively without being too loud and service friendly and professional. We all said the same thing : we’d definitely come back. “We recently stayed at INNSiDE by Meliá Liverpool and visited the 360 Sky Bar during our visit. There had been a slight mix-up with our room – nothing to do with the Sky Bar – but we ended up speaking with the Sky Bar Manager, Hayley who had warmly greeted us on our arrival. She truly went above and beyond for us. We had been given some drinks tokens as a goodwill gesture, and we asked if we could have something other than Prosecco, as we were hoping for soft drinks instead. When I explained to Hayley why we’d been given the tokens – even though the issue had nothing to do with her or her team – she took the time to really listen and understand what had happened. Hayley then went out of her way to speak with the hotel management to see what could be done to make our stay special. Again, this wasn’t something she needed to do – it wasn’t her department – but she genuinely cared and wanted to help in any way she could. She made our daughter’s 21st birthday incredibly special and memorable – she absolutely spoiled her and made her feel like a VIP. We went on to have some cocktails which were delicious and the desserts here are so good too! Views from here are stunning, especially at sunset. Hayley is an absolute credit to the Sky Bar and the hotel. Her hospitality skills are exceptional, and her team is clearly a reflection of her brilliant leadership. We felt truly looked after, and she turned a frustrating situation into a really positive experience. Thank you, Hayley – you made all the difference!”

“I went in on a whim, only fuelled by the vague but sudden urge that I wanted to have a needle and ink stabbed into me (a tattoo) that day, and had no idea what I wanted to get or where. I spotted the “get what you get” gumball machine through the window, which has a fixed price of £60 and you get a random flash piece. Stefan, who ran the gumball machine was obviously the one to tattoo me, and I’m so glad I went in that day. Everyone there was very friendly, but Stef especially did a great job making me feel comfortable and confident enough to let him do pretty much what he wanted on my leg. It was the least painful of my tattoos so far and it came out super cool! He was very gentle and he’s made a customer for life! Thanks Stef and everyone else at Crown Of Thorns!”

“Flissy’s is a great place to stop for lunch, tea and cake or a post dog walk treat. The staff are friendly and service is quick. Great choice of cakes and treats and a really extensive gluten free menu. The gluten free cheese and ham panini was really delicious. Great chips too. It’s really dog friendly so great for a visit with your pooch, you can get dog sausages or dog ice creams. We come here regularly and are never disappointed. Would recommend.”
