“My step mum and I visited the salon for a Japanese Head Spa & bouncy blowdry as a 21st birthday treat for myself! The ladies at the salon were amazing, the treatment was absolutely unreal- so relaxing! All the ladies made us feel extremely welcome, they accommodated to us and anything we needed for the entire day, we spent most of the day in the salon being pampered and the whole experience was fantastic. I even left with a bottle as a present for my birthday! -How kind. Such an amazing day and the staff did everything to make it just perfect. Thank you so much, we definitely recommend:) xx”

“I called at the florist on the off chance (Sunday morning) to have a floral arrangement made. I chose the colours, paid and returned later on to pick up the most beautiful and colourful floral arrangement. I was near to tears at the choice of flowers and colours the young lady had put together. My daughter in law was over the moon with the flowers and agreed with me that they were truly beautiful. “I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the classic Sunday roast to the rotating chef’s specials, the food is consistently 10/10 — it’s far beyond what you’d expect from pub food and easily rivals high-end restaurants. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are almost unbelievable given the quality you get. They always do their best to accommodate everyone including dietary needs, and make you feel right at home. “They'd just opened, I plonked myself on a seat and ordered a breakfast muffin, it's literally still in my hand now and it's 'effin delicious. Friendly and quick service, freshly cooked and I live nowhere near but ill come again when I'm on training at the brewery. Could not recommend more.”

“THIS is the pub to go to if ever you have the chance. And if you've been before, but not since late 2023 - ga again. New, young owners have revitalised the Tavern whilst keeping all the old, well lived traditional features. The food is fantastic, dogs are very welcome. There is even home-made doggy ice-cream, dog snacks and hand-made dog leads for sale. There's a small tuck shop and board games for kids. Lovely walks all around. WINNER OF PUB OF THE YEAR 2025.”

“Had to go as needed battery for car fob. Staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful, with a sense of humour. Fitted the battery for the fob , told me when I have time, to bring the spare fob, and they will replace that battery for me as well. No complaints. Left satisfied with service provided.”

“Had my hair extentions put back in at this salon and was very reasonable priced , very relaxed environment, the ladies here are very friendly and nice to chat with. I had my little girl say on my knee for the first 40 minutes and they was very lovely about her being there as she was very wriggly and loud only being 7 months old. The lady who did my hair was very fast at putting them in only took just over a hour with stops in-between to get stuff for my little girl and feed her , very highly recommend this salon will be going here for everything in the future”
