“Exceptional taste. For the 30 minutes I was there and eating the food, I didn't miss Pakistan at all. What a delicious Lamb boneless Karahi & Chargha! If the chef was a female, I would have offered to marry her just so I could have this food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grateful to the owners of Daawat restaurant for offering pure desi taste in England. Wish they can open a branch near Manchester University so I can eat even more often. Ps: apologies for the bad pics, my focus was on enjoying the desi food.”

“Amazing food and very friendly service. I was really surprised by how lovely the food was. Normally, Pan-Asian places in food courts are hit and miss. The portion was very generous (I even had to take some with me)! Manchester turned out to be a great place to visit, with lovely food and a nice vibe to the city.”

“Great location. Friendly greetings from barge owners, cyclists and walkers along the canal path into Whaley Bridge and New Mills. The views were spectacular even on a dull day. The Navigation Inn was welcoming, and dog friendly, but best if you keep them off the seating as the path can be muddy. The landlord looked after the beer well and there was plenty of choice. We both had the pie of the day and we're very happy with our choice. Lots of meat and super chips and the cauliflower and carrots were cooked to perfection. The gravy was superb ***** 5 stars. Our young waitress was very friendly and polite and overall the evening was a lovely experience. On our second night I had Bali chicken which again contained lots of meat with stir fried veg in a sweet sticky sauce, and my husband had fish and chips. Again the beer was good. If you enjoy walking or cycling while looking at gorgeous scenery then this is definitely worth a stay although we were in our motorhome. It's free to stay if you inform the landlord if your vehicle reg and go in the pub for a few drinks or a meal. Believe me it's worth it.”

“I went to Pronto Pizza, and I must say, it was one of the best pizza experiences I’ve had! The flavors were incredible, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. A special shoutout to Aniruth, who made the pizza—his recommendations were spot on, and the pizza he prepared was absolutely perfect. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does. The crust was crisp, the toppings were fresh, and the balance of flavors was just right. Highly recommend Pronto Pizza to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!”

“Visited 29/04/2024, at lunch time parking was available in the limited spots at front of the building. Go in and there is the restaurant part to the right as you go in. The seabass on the potato dauphinois and green beans was very tasty, the side of salt and pepper chips was also nice. Food came quickly and both the staff looking after the group were very attentive and friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We did the Rhine River cruise on the Emerald Destiny in April of 2025. It was a wonderful experience. The boat is comfortable, and the crew greets you with, “Welcome Home!” The service on board, the friendliness and professionalism of the crew, the food and excursions made for what is truly the experience of a lifetime. It was our first trip to Europe (and may be the only one we get to take), and we couldn’t have been happier.”

“This Costa is usually and understandably busy but I was very happy to get a table today. I had a lovely cappuccino and a cake. It is a very nice Costa to take a break in and watch the shoppers walk by. The staff were very friendly, they cleared and cleaned my table for me. “This is the best travelodge I have stayed in. I have had the opportunity to stay in many over the years and this little travelodge exceeded all expectations. Yes it's an old road side style travelodge ut the staff are friendly and maintain the property very well. The reception smells nice with fresh flowers and the corridor and rooms are exceptionally clean. Well done to the staff going above and beyond.”

“From start to finish it was a lovely experience. The phone call was a breeze order fully taken and read back to make sure everything was on. It’s cash only and so it should be as cash is king. The interior is amazing all open plan you can see all of the kitchen and quite rightly has earned a 5 star food hygiene rating. The food all packed in re usable plastic boxes which come in real handy. The food quality and quantity was absolutely superb it was quite poss the best Chinese food I’ve tasted so overall 10/10 we all loved it oh and I got a complimentary bottle of Pepsi which went down a treat with my lads. Friendly staff is also a massive plus point.”
