“Nice cafe, with a very pleasant owner, a good variety menu, my wife and i, were visiting for breakfast, 1 veggie breakfast, 1 medium size breakfast, both hit the spot, washed down with a pot of tea, which we shared, a good 2 cups each. Made a nice change from the sterile, bland pub breakfast. As the cafe used much better quality ingredients,the butchers sausages were very tasty.”

“We had a fantastic time at The Bake House! After finding out our originally planned venue for afternoon tea was closed we called the Bake House and they accommodated us at the last minute! We were too late to order afternoon tea but they did their best to give us the experience by plating up our sandwiches into a platter and putting our chosen cakes on a cake stand. Delicious baked good, teas coffees and scrumptious milkshakes for the kids. 100% recommend!”

“Phenomenal!!! So pleased we passed by this pub on the way home, the service was amazing and the food was delicious, home cooked and generous! Great veggie and vegan choices and sooo many gluten free options, most of the dishes looked like they could be done GF. Veggie burger and roast beef sandwiches both 10/10. We felt so comfortable and looked after, thank you Mike for being so passionate about the menu and chatting to us, as well as for my birthday dessert! We will definitely be back ☺️”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”

“My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. This gesture of genuine care and attention made her day and demonstrated a level of service that is rarely seen. The combination of great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exemplary service ensures that we will definitely be returning to The Rising Moon Pub again very soon. We had a lovely evening, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. “I went to this restaurant which was a very nice place to dine. I had the lamb casserole which was delicious and was served with rice and side salad with a nice glaze over the top. Besides the top notch food, the lovely server, Youssef, was very friendly, served with a smile and was happy to help with all enquiries. A nice place to eat, the only downside was due to attending on a weekday night, there was not much of a customer atmosphere. There was a nice background music playing and the restaurant was very well lit with some lovely wall decor. 9/10 would recommend and will be re-attending”

“First time at this cafe. I ordered a black coffee, a coke and Traditional Eggs Benedict. The cafe was busy which shows how popular it is. The food was amazing. The eggs were cooked to perfection and were nice and runny. The bacon was also perfect. Not salty at all like some bacon. I’m always weary about ordering eggs Benedict as sometimes it’s not cooked properly and the sauce is tasteless, but not here. I actually wanted to lick the plate to get all the sauce. I will definitely be back xx”

“Amazing Food and Service at Aljazeera! ​⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ​You absolutely have to try Aljazeera! This place is truly special and has the best Qabli Pilau and grilled food you will find anywhere. If you want great food and perfect service, this is where you need to go. Eating here is a wonderful experience from start to finish. ​The main dish, the Qabli Pilau, is the star. The rice is cooked perfectly and smells so good with spices like saffron. The lamb underneath is super soft and falls apart easily—it practically melts in your mouth! The sweet carrots and raisins mixed in taste fantastic and make the dish complete. It's truly delicious and comforting food. ​The grilling here is also top-notch. The Grilled Chicken and all the Kababs are cooked perfectly. They have a great smoky taste and a little crispiness on the outside, but the meat inside is still incredibly juicy and tender. They use great spices, and every bite is full of real, traditional flavor. ​And let's talk about the service—it's honestly the best service I've ever had. The staff are so nice, professional, and genuinely happy to help. Our server knew everything about the menu and was quick and helpful without rushing us or getting in the way. ​Aljazeera gets everything right: amazing, real food and incredible customer care. “Try Thai has been my favourite restaurant for many years. The food is always absolutely gorgeous. If you like spicy food, I personally recommend soft shell crab with chilli and holy basil. Accompany it with sticky rice and you’ll feel like you’re in heaven. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.”

“Being in my early 40s now and having many Chinese takeaways over 3 decades, this is absolutely hands down our favourite Chinese and the only place we get from now! As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough! “We were really craving a dosa, and Dosaxpress really hit the spot. It was fairly empty when we went and so food service was fast. Medhu vada was exceptional. The poori was also perfect! The red and green chutney were not that great but the coconut chutney and sambar made up for it.”
