“My son and I went in half 6 Saturday evening having just phoned ahead to check. Pub was bustling with a good atmosphere and the restaurant was filling up. Lovely friendly staff tended to us throughout the meal which was delicious! I had the chicken fillet, which had lovely crispy skin and the caramelised onion and potato gratin was fantastic and all held together with a great sauce. He had rump steak, medium rare, which was really nicely cooked. Desserts were equally good. I had sticky toffee pudding which was moist with lots of toffee sauce and a really generous helping of ice cream. He had the chocolate and salted caramel cake which was chocoholics heaven! Highly recommended.”

She had really great menu knowledge and treated us at the end of the meal to a little taster of the new lime & basil ice cream that we were in two minds about getting. The host who took us to our table was lovely and very helpful with allergen queries. Food was spot on, can’t go wrong with that Spinach and Egg pizza and the Bosco Salad was heavenly.
