“A lovely little place that we visit every other Wednesday (unless Man Utd or City are on TV), where a gang of local musicians gather fortnightly to rehearse. The drinks are way cheaper than the pubs, and it's welcoming, comfortable, warm and friendly. If you're into snooker, there's a table upstairs too.”

“Lovely old inn with a superb view. Good priced drinks and unbelievably friendly staff, including the delightful owners. Everybody went above and beyond, from checking in to breakfast in the morning.... Wow! The breakfast was perfect, and soaked up our hangovers from the previous nights wedding perfectly. “Lovely pub in Old Glossop. Stayed for a night on a walking weekend. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious - one of us had a roast dinner with amazing cauliflower cheese. The other two shared delicious tapas, highlight was the ribs and the feta salad. A lovely pub, highly recommend.”
