“I just had to write a quick review for this place. Manchester based but well worth the travel. This was my first experience of Libyan foood and if this is anything to go by, I’m moving to Libya. Lamb soup, mini shwarma, Shakshuka, these amazing keema filled potatoes. It was all great. Spicier than I expected and reasonably priced. £11.50 for everything in the pics. We kicked things off with the starter platter, and honestly? Every single item stole a tiny piece of my heart. Fresh, bold, nothing hanging around in the kitchen too long—the dishes landed on our table quicker than my nephew spots Pidgey (my pet pigeon) on the bannister. Then came the lamb shank… unbelievably tender. It didn’t just “fall off the bone”—it practically handed in its resignation. Silky, rich, and cooked with the sort of patience I wish my smart meter had. My wife’s dishes were just as impressive. Every bite looked like it transported her somewhere peaceful—meat and chicken both juicy enough to make you rethink every dry dish you’ve ever tolerated in life. I didn’t manage to grab photos of everyone else’s food, but trust me, the table was full of happy faces and clean plates. If you’re thinking about coming here for dinner, do it. The food’s on point, the service feels natural, and the décor gives the place a warm, modern charm. Fully recommend.”

“I got a delivery so can’t rate the atmosphere but I can tell you that the food was absolutely delicious was also hot and ready to eat apart from the fried chicken but I didn’t mind. Delivery was quick but was a bit pricey as I paid £25 in total for curry mutton rice and peas and coleslaw and fried chicken but that’s uber eats I guess. But was delicious so THANK YOU”

“Outstanding! Freshly prepared, authentic, wonderfully tasty food - restaurant-quality dishes, amazing flavours... It took us a while to try Armenian Grill House as, compared to take away pizza or chicken, the prices appear a bit high. But I really wish we'd given them a try earlier, because their fabulous food is worth every penny. Highly recommended!! They will be out go-to take-out from now on!”

“I went to this restaurant which was a very nice place to dine. I had the lamb casserole which was delicious and was served with rice and side salad with a nice glaze over the top. Besides the top notch food, the lovely server, Youssef, was very friendly, served with a smile and was happy to help with all enquiries. A nice place to eat, the only downside was due to attending on a weekday night, there was not much of a customer atmosphere. There was a nice background music playing and the restaurant was very well lit with some lovely wall decor. 9/10 would recommend and will be re-attending”

“Saw this new place while walking the dog and decided to pay a visit later. I’ve never had Turkish food, so I ordered the Alibaba For 2 which contains decent portions of every item on the menu. The kebabs were fresh and juicy and it came on a bed of rice, so the rice soaks up the taste of all the kebabs. If you’re not sure what to order I recommend the Alibaba For 1 (or 2) so that you can get a taste of every item they have. I was very impressed, will definitely order again!”

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Maral, the lovely owner, is such a kind and welcoming person — she goes above and beyond to make sure every guest is happy. The food is absolutely delicious — everything from the starters to the main dishes was full of flavour and beautifully presented. I had the Jojeh Extra Koobideh and Baghali Polo with Lamb Shank, and they were cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable too, especially for the quality and portions you get. We even had a wedding party there a few months ago, and everything was perfect — the food, the service, and the whole experience. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about their guests. If you’re looking for authentic Persian food in a lovely setting with great people, Persia Grill is the place to go. “I've wanted to come here for so long and finally came tonight to celebrate our 4th anniversary. The service we received was exceptional. The food was divine - great cocktails, unlimited sides and amazing bbq meats. I was worried I would be stalking all the servers for more meat but thankfully they kept coming over. What impressed me the most was that they gave us complimentary champagne and all the servers congratulated us on our anniversary, even the manager. Amazing experience and can't wait to come back. “A solid option if you are looking for good food. Reasonably priced compared to some other restaurants. You get free lentil soup and tea which is great. Plus they have space for anyone who would want to pray ( just ask them if you don't see it ). I assume there is a family section on the first floor. One thing to keep in mind is that It's Kurdish cuisine so it's slightly different from Turkish or the other middle eastern food u get on curry mile. It definitely has less spices compared to South Asian food. The parking can be an issue as the area is usually busy with people. Defo worth a try”
