It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. “As a new golfer, I first went to Richard for a club fitting. I was immediately impressed by the data analysis he presented to me after I tested a number of different brands and models of irons. This allowed us to make an informed decision when choosing the set to order. Once my set of irons arrived I initiated my first block of lessons at The Golf School. As anyone will know who plays golf, there are so many elements to a golf swing but the highly technical launch monitors, camera systems and teaching aids that Richard uses at his facility really help you to understand your swing and see the impact when you make changes. When things don’t go so well you can more easily identify which area you need to work on too. The indoor facilities allow you to continue with lessons and practice no matter what the weather, enabling further improvement throughout the winter season when you might otherwise have not been out as much as you would have liked. Richard is a great communicator and he ensures you have a clear understanding of his teaching. He is informative and friendly and delivers his lessons in a relaxed environment. I am incredibly pleased with the progress I have made since having lessons with Richard and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their game technically but also psychologically.”

“Our annual boiler servicing is completed by LW Plumbing & Heating and has been for a few years. Today we had Chris and Jack attend, they came very early so as not to cause any disruption to the office/staff and were courteous, efficient and thorough. We have also called on them when things go wrong i.e. a radiator not heating and they attend site promptly resolving issues quickly. Highly recommend.”

You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about both the quality of the coffee and the experience of everyone who walks in. Oli in particular has this effortless way of making the space feel welcoming, friendly, and his attentiveness is very wholesome. He remembers people’s preferences, checks in with guests thoughtfully, and the whole atmosphere runs smoothly under his watch. The drinks are consistently excellent, the service is efficient but personal, and there’s a calm, professional energy even during an influx. If you’re looking for a spot where you’re treated like a valued regular rather than just another customer, this is 100% it. Highly recommended!”

“My son is on the spectrum and used to have long hair as he couldn't stand to be touched on his head to have it cut, we tried a few places and he'd become really distressed and anxious, so we left it. Then when he was 5 he decided on his own that he wanted to have shorter hair so we decided to try here (altrincham branch) based on positive reviews and a recommendation from someone at my sons school. He loves it, he's been visiting here for about a year now. He has Chelsea to cut his hair and he really likes her, she's patient with him and respects his sensory boundaries, she makes him feel listened to, he loves how she uses praise led encouragement and calls him a superstar and a funny bunny. He looks forward to coming for his hair cut now and calls it time to visit his friend Chelsea! It's a bit of a journey in for us, about an hour if there's bad traffic (and traffic CAN be tricky on washway road sometimes) but we consider it to be worth it due to the positive experience had upon arrival. I can't stress enough how distressing haircuts were for him prior to finding this place and we gave up completely because it would always end in screaming, panicked, anxious sobbing. But once he had made up his own mind that he wanted to try a proper haircut - I couldn't recommend here enough as a perfect starting point to begin your child's haircutting journey/experience.”

“Perfect little coffee stop for lunch & a quick caffeine hit! In the outskirts of the city for the day, I only had a short hour to find somewhere to eat & drink - Capuchin was the perfect little location! I initially walked past the door the first time, looking inside but being informed to go someplace else (close-by) which was supposedly the place to go... It was meant to be though because this location was being re-furbished & therefore, I came back here & was glad I did. The food was delicious & the coffee even better! I was served quickly with a friendly smile & the food didn't take too long to come out either. I can't remember how much it all came to but it wasn't a bad price & something totally expected for a good quality brunch & coffee. Would return & recommend a lot in what seems to be a competitive little corner (street). Well done guys!”

“Local couple following their dream. It’s a cafe but I haven’t visited during the day. As a bar they have Neck Oil and Cruzcampo on draught. Wine and spirits available. Gets busy and buzzy Friday and Saturday. Would be great if they do snacks eg meat platters, cheese, olives etc in summer. I wish you every success.”
