“Been going to this store since I was a young lad and as an older fella these days, the store is just as great as ever. I prefer to shop here rather than use some online mega shop like Amazon or Ebay, as I can get everything I want without worrying if a courier will deliver or not. The staff have always and are still superb and offer great customer service. Having the Argos Card is also helpful too if you want to make a big price purchase but would rather pay in instalments rather than a big chunk of money leave your account right away. The Argos Card is also far easier to apply for than something other finance companies offer as you don't need a drivers licence or passport for the Argos Card, which could make things easier, especially for the younger adult shoppers.”

“Went to Kick Game for the first time today and I was very impressed by the customer service, particularly Becky and Jason! I started off by selling a pair of Ochre Foam Runners which was an easy experience thanks to Jason and they gave me a good price. I then tried a couple of pairs of shoes on and again Becky was very helpful as she went to get multiple sizes for me. In the end I left with a pair of ‘Cool Grey’ Jordan 11s and was very satisfied with the store, would 100% shop there again. Plan to visit next time I’m in Manchester!”

“Came over to Base Camp in Stockport this weekend to purchase some Altberg boots. Mike was very helpful in explaining the different models and options available. It's definitely worth having your feet measured by a professional for this sort of thing and I'm really happy with my purchase. Base Camp also have a great selection of Paramo products in-store, looking forward to coming back and picking out a jacket later in the year.”

Marcus changed my daith out a few weeks ago and was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice to help with my inflammation. Kitty pierced my seconds and thirds today and did an amazing job! I will definitely be coming back for more piercings in the future. Also, the whole front desk team did a great job helping me pick out my jewellery and even gave me a discount since I bought so many! The décor isn’t trying to impress with chandeliers or glitter thankfully but instead wraps you in warmth with local artwork on the walls that feels like it’s been chosen by someone who actually likes art not someone who just Googled “restaurant paintings.” It’s inviting homely and gives you the sense that whether you’re bringing the family for a big feast or sneaking in for a romantic dinner for two you’re in the right place. Now the food. This is where Turquoise flexes its muscles. Take the full English. It’s not a plate of sadness and regret it’s a proper spread. The sausages aren’t your usual limp Richmonds. No these beauties taste like they’ve just been pinched from a farmer who still sings to his livestock. I don’t even like sausages usually but these have that magic balance meaty juicy and full of intent. And if you fancy they’ll happily swap one out for a Turkish sausage which adds a little drama to the plate like inviting a flamenco dancer to your breakfast table. Their Mediterranean and Turkish dishes carry the same ethos generous but never sloppy bold but never brash. You can tell nothing’s rushed here. It all tastes fresh like someone actually cared as they stirred the pot. The staff are relaxed happy and with that ease that says “We’d rather be here than anywhere else.” They don’t hover like suspicious pigeons nor do they vanish when you need them they’re just right. And the value. Well it’s excellent. Other places might leave you nursing the sting of buyer’s remorse but here you walk away content your wallet intact and your taste buds gently applauding. Turquoise doesn’t just feed you it reminds you that food cooked with love and pride makes everything better. And if you’re lucky the sausages might even wink at you on the way out”

“Had a couple of beers here on a Friday evening. The guest beer was in great condition and the bar staff were really friendly. Plenty of parking next to the pub. Sports were being shown on multiple screens. Would recommend and visit again.”

It was raining when I visited, so I sat inside, but I can imagine it’s even better when the weather’s nice and you can sit outside. Service was quick and the atmosphere was relaxed. “Fantastic experience today for Amelia 7th birthday. Greeted with professional and friendly staff. Introduced to our party organiser for the day who was friendly and organised. Everything was on hand from sock and wrist bands for the kids which the Becky the organiser health with and greet each child. Went to part room when children went on equipment and all shoes were in a basket and then neatly lined up ready for when they finished. Helped with gifts and setting the room up. Room hpod size and clean all ready with table set up just wanted to add some banners and ballons which becky helped with. Food fab, nuggets were real chicken! (Not reformed) becky organised singing and cut the cake for us too. We had the best most stress free party ever!!! Highly recommend 5* from start to finish!!!!”
